Would not recommend this office. The staff is extremely rude, unprofessional and unhelpful. The doctors treat patients like cattle; apparently, bedside manner has gone out of style here. I saw one doctor (dressed like he was going sailing or yachting; not professional at all) tell a patient IN THE WAITING ROOM that his diabetes prognosis was terrible and things didn't look good. Wow. Apparently, patient confidentiality isn't valued highly at this place either. The wait was about 30 minutes on a slow day. Overall, stay away from Martel's office like your health depended on it. more

Excellent and Talented Eye Care 6/1/2011

Anything that affects the eye is really scary and I knew I was in excellent hands--Dr. Martel was talented, caring, confident, patient and kind. I felt secure that I would receive the best possible care. And this was on Memorial Day--I am so grateful! more

Very Poor 2/22/2011

Called for an appointment for glasses on Feb 2, 2011\r was told to come in on March 23, 2011\r Received a call on march 22, 2011 that Dr. Rogers wouldn't be in on the 23rd. and had to rescheduale for march the 18th. I told them to forget it \r I would go some where else. As far as I'm concerned this is not a very good way to run a business. I really thought having to wait as long as I did the first time was unreasonable, but I did it. Then to be blown off the day before the appointment was really out of line. Rating does not deserve any stars. more

Awesome! 10/4/2008

Awesome services and wonderful workers. I came in and had to fill out paperwork, but that makes sense because I was a new patient. After the paper was turn in, I was called right away and went through testing. The front desk and back office workers were generous and friendly. The doctors are very knowledgeable comes from the BEST backgrounds of education. Knowing that I am treated by a doctor who is not only an opthalmologist, but the chief truma person at Marcy San Juan Hospital. I feel super secured and safe in the hands of the doctors. Excellent staff and services as expected from the best office for eye care. Pros: Doctors, Medical Assistents, Optical and Opthalmalogy. Cons: Busy days. more
