Clarendon

I have been living in one of the two-bedroom townhomes for two years and about to start my third year here. I have lived three other places here in Norman and Clarendon Apartments is by far the best place I have lived. These apartments are advertised as the ""best apartment value in Norman"" and this is definitely truth in advertising. I have paid more for much worse living conditions at other places. The rent is relatively low and the apartments are located within convenient distance of campus. That make these apartments ideal for students. The townhomes are old, but kept in good repair. The few times I have had to call in a work order, I was able to speak directly to the manager and had the problem fixed faster and more effectively than I had anticipated. The manager, Fred, takes personal concern for the welfare of the his tenants and always does what he can to help resolve issues. I have never had a better landlord. The office staff is friendly and helpful, as are the maintenance crew. This place is very rare in that I feel part of a community- all of my neighbors are also grad students and I have made a lot of friends here. Pros: Nice community feel more

I've been here for seven years and when I complain about anything Fred is right there to help me.We've had some openly drunken neighbors and they didnt last long at all as it is quiet.I told Fred I had thirty pictures for the wall because my dad is an artist so I might damage the walls a bit ,He said ""We can fix them "" without hesitation..The pool is constantly worked on every day and when it is time it is the cleanest pool in town.My work is a block away and This is an eight hundred square foot apartment for four hundred and thirty dollars.Incredible ,I have the insides beautiful and have a giant kingsize bed .I'm stayin at least another twenty more

Lived at Clarendon for 3 years. It was a great experience. Not too expensive, good maintenance and the management is very professional. These are older apartments, but they have personality. My only complaint was the parking lots. They really need to fix them. Pros: Cost, location and mgt Cons: parking lots need work more
