I've been to many a dentist, but that stopped when I found Dr. Gilbert's practice. The staff were very welcoming, and my cleanings have always been comfortable and well-done. The work I've had done has always been top-notch (and I've needed a LOT of other dentists' work re-done). I've been fortunate to not need to re-visit for any issues with Dr. Gilbert's work because he does it right the first time. I will say - he is also an artist with dental tools. I have a chipped front tooth that he repaired, and it looks like it was never broken -matches perfectly to the shape and color of my other teeth- just like it was perfect all along. My fillings and onlays he's done have stood the test of time, and look perfect as well. I've often gone in expecting to pay a huge amount of money for his work, and I'm always pleasantly surprised at the reasonable cost of the service (I don't carry dental insurance). I highly recommend Dr. Gilbert's practice to anyone who needs dental work. more

Dr.Gilbert will suggest treatment to help you keep your teeth the longest. He gives options but recommends what is best for your situation. I have had an implant, crowns, and more. When I had a dental emergency he took me right in and took care of my tooth. He has done charity dental work overseas and here in town. He gets many new patients by referrals from people who trust him. more

I'm not sure about his skill because I don't need anything beside a regular cleaning. The hygienist, Ms. Donna, was great but she too bad she is not there anymore.. I'm not coming back to this practice ever again.This dentist has no manner. He smells horrible and I can't believe he farted while checking on my teeth. It was so disgusting because he was sitting right next to my head and he doesn't even care to apologize. more

I was Dr. Gilbert's patient for more than one year. However, I had some issues with one of his work, he sent me to a specialist. After that he refused to answer my calls. I ghad to look for another dentist and bingo his work was not done properly. I heard from him once I asked for a file transfer. Do yourself a favor and look for another dentist. I am a student at Emory from Pennsylvania. Initially, I was nervous about not seeing my childhood dentist , but I felt as though I had been visiting Dr. Gilbert's office for years. Dr. Gilbert is very kind and experienced. He explained the entire procedure and treatment plan to me. The hygienist is incredibly kind and made me feel at ease. Dr. Gilbert and his staff create a comfortable and relaxing environment for their patients. Patient care is definitely their number one priority. In fact, a few days after my procedure Dr. Gilbert's office called me to make sure that I was feeling well. I would highly recommend that you visit Dr. Gilbert's office. I found Dr. Gilbert using City Search. I searched for dentists in my area and then called a few offices to see how they went. His place had the best phone service so I made an appointment just for a cleaning. They were able to handle my benefits and told me that I was eligible for new x rays. I had these done. Unfortunately, they did find a cavity and showed me this on the pictures. They have x rays on the computer so this is easy to see and pretty cool. They even printed me a copy to take with me. Anyway, I had a couple of choices about how to fix it and I went with their best recommendation of a gold onlay. (I know, I know, but it's a back molar and it won't show.)
