Clairbourn has a beautiful campus: eleven acres of rolling lawns, a swimming pool, handball court, and both old and modern facilities all landscaped, manicured and spread out like a college campus. The jewel in the crown of this setting is situated at the center of the property; an old Georgian-style 23 room manor house built in 1915. Its eighty-nine year history has transformed it from a gentleman's mansion with operating orange groves to the thriving educational business that it is today. Originally used as the headmaster's residence, it now serves as a meeting place for the Board of Trustees, the Clairbourn Families Associates, and the Student Council. There is a feeling of orderliness throughout - everything in its proper place. The school was strictly for Christian Science families from its inception in 1926 until the board of directors voted to open the enrollment to people of other religions in 1967.
