All we can say is, ""WOW!"" My husband and I were determined to have amazing BBQ at our wedding, and since our favorite BBQ place wasn't a full-service caterer, we were concerned. We found Claey's on-line and were impressed on the first meeting by the fact that Jim Claey let us taste his BBQ before putting any money down and the fact that it was phenomenally good! His price quotes for dishes and linens were very competitive and the quality and quantity of food for the price was out of this world. We had some frustrations with communicating menu preferences, but ultimately, this is a family business. Some of them know the bookkeeping, some the scheduling, and Jim knows his BBQ. He may not have been fully prepared for our on-site tour of our wedding location, but he invented 3 perfect appetizers on the spot and promised to personally over-see our wedding reception, which he did with incredible professionalism. The linens matched our color scheme perfectly and he and his staff were a step ahead all throughout the event with glasses for toasts, cutting the cake, and even bringing a plate of appetizers out to where the wedding party was doing photos. The best part was having a basket of leftovers to take on the honeymoon. Let me tell you how great his brisket is for breakfast!
Pros: Brisket, chicken, salmon, potato salad, shredded beef cakes
Cons: Brief miscommunications regarding the menu, but sorted out.
