One of the first things you'll notice about CityWalk are the great signs. Most of them are in the style of the traditional neon, but some are also authentic. There are tons of shops to browse in, but for me...CityWalk is more of an eating destination. I say eating as opposed to ""dining"" because you can get a great sausage sandwich or pizza as well as sushi, filet mignon and king crab legs. After seeing the great success of the CityWalk, Disney followed suit and built Downtown Disney in Anaheim. CityWalk has some great restaurants, but they've had a few flops, too. There was the comic book-themed restaurant...the name of which I don't remember, the seafood restaurant Gladstone's, and several others that we enjoyed in the past. The only drawback about the CityWalk...well, I think there are two, really...the parking fee is a little outrageous and the numbers of people who throng the place can be suffocating, to say the least. The parking fee keeps us from going there more often...and the human horde makes CityWalk an ""occasion-only"" experience these days.
