City Fish Grill

Tired by a busy day and looking for good food without having to cook, we drove in to City Fish. We anticipated a wait, but there were two stools at a table in the bar with a view of the TV monitors (Pacers vs Orlando). Jeff C. was our waiter--excellent service. He accurately took our order without writing anything down and the service team delivered the food timely. The bread was hot, soft, and flavorful. That and the cold beer set the stage for the entrees. The Bimini Grouper was a remarkable mix of flavors. The side vegetables were equally and distinctly flavorful. The meal was wonderful. Teamwork was evident in the kitchen, in the wait staff, and in the hostesses whom we observed help bus tables to speed up the process of seating waiting patrons. We could not have been more pleased. more

I was in Tampa for my mothers back surgery, in from Indiana. What we found at City Fish is an establishment I will not ever drive through Florida without stopping at. From the beautiful ambience and beautiful staff. To the AMAZING food and the expertly mixed drinks. Our server was the picture of gorgeous and was sweeter than southern iced tea. She made great suggestions as to what was freshest and the tastiest things on the menu. She was told of my mothers impending surgery and actually saw fit to write her a little note of well wishes! That's above the call of duty when it comes to service. The food itself was maddeningly good, I really wanted to go all Roman style and sit there ordering different things until I simply had to be wheeled to a taxi and rolled into bed. I've not had a meal that equalled it. I say for all travellers you should go, ask for Sonia. more

I liked it. Food was pretty good. I do agree about the service though it could be improved. Will go back again though. more

Sea Bass didn't smell or taste right and a manager didn't even visit my table... Pros: Sushi was decent more

Place was pretty empty on a Friday night. Food was average (I had the Mahi) and the service was really bad. No manager to be found. Will not return anytime soon. Pros: Outside Area Cons: Food not great, service was even worst. more

We had a great time, sat out on the patio. The service was great and the food was fantastic. The prices were very worth it! The music is live jazz on Tuesday,Wednesdays and Saturdays. Loved every minute of our evening. Can't wait to go back. more
