Good food not for the dieter! 7/17/2006

Excellent food but I don't eat there alot since I am on a diet. I am totally addicted to Bagels and Pasta so I just can't go there. lol But excellent food if you are not watching your waistline, or if you have self control! more

I love this restaurant. It has a great atmosphere. The bagel selection is wonderful. They have a variety of cream cheeses and toppings for breakfast and lunch. I think the prices are a little on the high side for a bagel, but for the occasional treat, they are definitely worth it. They also serve a good latte. more

World class bagels at small town prices 12/22/2005

City Bagel has such a wide array of freshly baked bagels. They also offer pasta dishes and pizza a couple of nights a week as well. City Bagel is especially a good bet if you are a vegetarian. They offer several different veggie sanwiches (one containing hummus, sprouts, cucumbers, tomato, etc.) that is to die for, as well as veggie burgers. You can choose between bagel or foccacia for your sandwiches. The atmosphere is very laid back, and staff is wonderful. This is an excellent place to dine at, or take out from, in the Starkville area. more

City Bagel is one of the more hipster places to eat in Starkville. It is a favorite of students and faculty - and is a great atmosphere to grab a bite while doing homework or studying for an exam. The bagels are all made fresh on site - and they have many different flavors and styles to choose from. They also serve sandwiches which are fresh and tasty. more

New York flavor in Starkville 8/17/2005

The moment you walk into City Bagel Cafe, you will not remember that you are in Starkville, MS. The cafe is known for it's variety of bagels, but their sandwiches run a close second! They have a variety of breads to chose from and their meat isn't simply packaged sandwich meat. Often you can see many people studying there or reading the paper with a cup of coffee. When the weather is nice there are always people on the porch, which is surrounded by dogwood trees, perfect for shade and gorgeous scenery. For a little something out of the ordinary, City Bagel is a wonderful place to lose yourself. more
