My sister never visits my apartments, shes aware of the numbered areas but the numbers are VERY hard to see at night, the procedure to dealing with cars in your spot is to leave a note, and if it isn't moved in a reasonable time then to call the towing company. BUT some people are just (for lack of better word) a**holes. So I went downstairs and noticed that the tow truck was getting ready to take her car, he had BARELY started, I offered to pay the amount needed and move the car, I was VERY nice, because I have common courtesy, He was rude short and unreasonable, I'm aware that his job is hard, but I'm not an intimidating person, I deserve the same kindness that I give out. We understood that the truck had to be towed and did not try to fight the cause. BUT the tow driver told my sister TWICE that he would let her go and she could pay him the amount needed, but both times, as soon as she walked away he quickly tried harder to put the truck on the tow, then when she asked for his card to pick up the truck in the morning he threw it at her feet. There is no reason for that kind of behavior from anyone but animals. I'm talking about both the driver, AND the person watching happily, as a hard working mother, tries the avoid hundreds of dollars worth of charges for something she honestly mistook for an unmarked parking spot WHILE still being kind and courteous and receiving harsh unneeded attitude.
