I love this company! When people park in my space, City Auto Towing promises to show up fast and they show up fast! People who get towed like Jane tend to leave bad reviews. Jane, if you had done your responsibility as a sister and TOLD your sister there were assigned parking spaces where you live, she wouldn't have parked in someone's spot ILLEGALLY... The fault does not lie with people who protect their private property from theft and hostile invasion... the fault is with the thieves who steal parking spaces and the trespassers who commit hostile invasion. And I've seen it said in another review... another whiner who whines and complains about being towed... that ""the process is to leave a note on the car"" but no... the process is not to commit a hostile invasion of someone's private property in the first place. You park in my space, yes, I leave a note on the car. And I call City Auto Towing. You have 30 minutes to move your car before City Auto Towing shows up. And some people will call me the A-word... but trespassing on private property is a hostile invasion... when a hostile enemy invades America on America's own soil is America an A-hole for defending its property? No. Trespassing on property I PAY FOR without MY permission is a hostile invasion.\r \r Keep doing your wonderful work and getting these hostile invaders out of my parking space, City Auto Towing. My sister never visits my apartments, shes aware of the numbered areas but the numbers are VERY hard to see at night, the procedure to dealing with cars in your spot is to leave a note, and if it isn't moved in a reasonable time then to call the towing company. BUT some people are just (for lack of better word) a**holes. So I went downstairs and noticed that the tow truck was getting ready to take her car, he had BARELY started, I offered to pay the amount needed and move the car, I was VERY nice, because I have common courtesy, He was rude short and unreasonable, I'm aware that his job is hard, but I'm not an intimidating person, I deserve the same kindness that I give out. We understood that the truck had to be towed and did not try to fight the cause. BUT the tow driver told my sister TWICE that he would let her go and she could pay him the amount needed, but both times, as soon as she walked away he quickly tried harder to put the truck on the tow, then when she asked for his card to pick up the truck in the morning he threw it at her feet. There is no reason for that kind of behavior from anyone but animals. I'm talking about both the driver, AND the person watching happily, as a hard working mother, tries the avoid hundreds of dollars worth of charges for something she honestly mistook for an unmarked parking spot WHILE still being kind and courteous and receiving harsh unneeded attitude. more

We have had people parking in our spot for months. We pay monthly for a spot and find it very irritating when somebody parks there without regard for the other tenants. City Auto came by to help out with a incident this evening. The tow truck driver showed up very quickly. After showing him the lease, he had the car towed away. The owner of the car came out and started giving him a hard time, but he stood his ground and wouldn't let the lady off the hook (literally.) It was a hard spot to get the car towed from and he took his time to get it done right. We are very pleased with the service provided. If they tow your car, you have nobody to blame but yourself! more

Worst car experience I have ever had! My car was towed there and I had to get a new fuel pump put in. When I got the car back, I found food they left in my car, the seats were reclined, and they left a tool in my back seat like they were having their lunch in my car! I called and told the manager and he apologized to me, so I didn't think any more of it. Only 2 weeks later (during the big snow storm in Reno) my car came to a rolling stop while I was driving. When I called the manager, while I was stranded in the snow, he was rude and didn't care. All he could say was ""No ones in till Monday. Nothing I can do"". I had to have it towed again and my mom had to drive up from California so I could be home in time for Christmas. They didn't call me back to let me know what was wrong for 4 days, and when I finally got through, they told me they put the fuel pump in upside down so it wasn't getting any gas. When I got my car back, I was shocked. I found a CD player and a CD with a naked girl on it on my front seat, some unknown raw meat smashed in my back door, and all of my things thrown into my trunk. We have been trying to get a hold of them for almost 2 weeks now and they will not call back. To sum it up, City Auto Towing has HORRIBLE customer service and VERY bad work ethics. If you want your car back in the condition you left it, don't go there!! more
