Old Town Charm 10/14/2005

Located in the Historic Orange Circle, this restaurant combines old town charm and retro to provide for a delightful evening. Great food and great drinks. Decently priced, but not too cheap. Surrounded by Antique shops...you can walk around after dinner to burn some extra calories, or walk to the bars that line the circle....always a nice touch to end the evening! more

Pricy and Hep 9/26/2005

Its a bit fast paced for the layed back Klan holdout of Old Towne Orange. It's a little too apple martini for the antique shops and wheelchairs lining the streets. It's also a little pricy fo what you get: "California Cuisine" -- and based on the one time I went, it wasn't the best. But it does seem to be very popular and is always packed, so maybe these people know something I don't. Maybe it's worth a try if you have money. Oh God, I don't know anymore. I guess you should give it the benefit of the doubt. more

the orange circle gets fancy 9/4/2005

This place always seems awkward to me in the circle (plaza if you must). It's a little more up-scale than surrounding places, but I guess that is the point. I had really crazy slow service here the one time I went, but a manager noticed and took care of things, which was nice. I had a really nice seared ahi dish (salad). It was good, but nothing that is very different from other seared ahi dishes I have had. Seems a little crowded most of the time, but I havne't tried to eat here a lot. We waited for a short while in the middle of the week for lunch. more

Nice view, good food 9/2/2005

The setting for this restaurant is very nice. It serves Cailfornia style type of food and is a really great date restaurant. The food is good but I didn't find anything too special about it. It's more of the ambiance that deserves a round of applause. You will have a better experience if you dine here for dinner because the lighting is nicer. more
