Cistercian is an absolutely great school. It is Catholic, but that is not a main focus for the students (even though many of the teachers are monks who live at the abbey there on campus. This school is also one of the very few Cistercian abbeys in the whole Western Hemisphere.) The education is absolutely outstanding and the students can always go to top colleges. Usually, about half the class or more are National Merit Semifinalists, a percentage unheard of in high schools. The feel on campus is very conservative--many of the students seem to be Southern and gentlemanly. The sports are good and the school really turns out quality young men year after year.
