Cinema 6

Amazing how much this place has changed for the better. New owners, friendly, accommodating, and they seem to really appreciate their employees as well as their customers. I have always enjoyed myself here. I've been here once or twice when they have had issues with sound or picture...always a heartfelt apology as well as a pass to come back for free. Never have they ever been rude to anyone that I have seen. Love this place. more

I have been to cinema 6 many times with my daughter, and sometimes we bring friends. We always have a great time and the staff are extremely friendly. When its just me and my little one its always less that $25 for tickets, a small popcorn, a small drink, and a kids snack pack which comes with a small drink, popcorn, and candy. I know from going to other theaters it would cost us $25 just to get in the door and usually about another $25 for us both to have popcorn and a drink without candy. The place could use a little remodeling in the bathrooms but what do you expect when you are only paying a few dollars for tickets. I am appalled at some of the other comments that I have read with people complaining about this theater. It is one of the few place left that we can go to enjoy a little fun time together that doesn't cost a fortune. For the person that said that they would rather pay full price for the other theater, please do so, that way we wont run into you at cinema 6 and have your bad attitude ruin our great time! Went to see Prince of Persia today. They were running a promotion for Labor Day weekend, all movies $1.50. We went through most of the movie, then 10 minutes before the movie was over, just as it hit it's climax, the sound goes off and the lights come on. After about 2 1/2 minutes my wife goes out to politely say, WTF. They turn turn the sound back on with out rewinding the now 3-4 minutes of sound we missed. When the movie is over and we exit the theater, I find out that they were coming in to CLEAN the theater when they cut the sound. Nobody exited the theater, the movie is finally hitting it's climax and your gonna assume the movie is over and cut the sound and clean the theater? After the movie, my wife and I also needed to visit the restrooms. OMG! They were awful! The toilets in the men's room were ridiculous. The sinks were nasty. The ladies room had no soap or paper towels. After saying something to the owner about the movie and condition of the restrooms, we get "" Oh. We're sorry about that. Have a nice day."" I realize I only spent a total of $4.50 for the 3 of us to see the movie. But, I also spent $15 on concessions. And, I really would have liked to know what happened in that 3+ minutes of no sound. It also would have been nice to not feel like I needed a shower for just setting foot in the restroom. more

This is an absolutely fantastic place. The new owners are very friendly and the place has been spruced up a lot since its closing last year. Prices are great and I love the fact that (usually) they don't show any previews! more

Great place, great owners and a WONDERFUL PRICE! We have been on several occasions and will return. You can't beat this. The last time we went to a refular theater, after popcor, soda's and some candy, it was well over 50.00 at cinema 6 it was 14 TOTAL! The owners have done a great job at making this theater really nice, they have a really good sound system, great A/C, and you don't have to watch 20 minutes of previews before the movie. (A plus for me, anyway) 5 stars! I'm happy they re-opened. Pros: Value, movies a reasonable cost. more

I have not gone to the ""new"" Cinema Six (previously Cinema Grill) yet, but plan to go this Wed (11/25). I went to the movies there twice before under the old owners, and as several of the other reviews stated - it was dirty, smelly and the food not good for the price. more

I am SO excited...I saw some activity over at the old Embassy theater, so I stopped and asked if they were going to reopen. The new owner introduced himself to me and told me that his family had purchased the place and were cleaning it up to open again. I cannot wait to see if it is better than the old owner who was a nasty, mean person. (He threatened to bring his dog out of the office to ""get"" her, when my sister wanted her money back for nasty food, with insects, that they obviously wouldn't eat.) Pros: We are getting our cheap movies back, with NEW owners!!! Cons: It was a nasty place before, dirty, smelly, etc. more

Bathrooms are broken down and NOT clean, theatre smells bad and is not clean! Owner/manager is not friendly to children! Food is over priced for the quality you receive. They raised the cost to $2.00 per person...I'd rather pay full price and go to a nicer, cleaner theater! Pros: lower cost Cons: cleanliness,staff more

Where else can you see a movie for $1.00? Convenient, clean, nice staff, cheap food, and good selections of movies! Love it! 5 stars of course! Pros: Never too crowded like other area movies! Cons: Parking lot is sometimes crowded but then so are all the other movie lots in area. more
