This restaurant, Chabot Cinema, hasn't been rated because (AS THE NAME IMPLIES) it is a cinema. A cinema is a place that shows movies. A restaurant is an establishment that serves food. As local cinemas go, this one is great. It's the old style we had in the 60's and before. There is a balcony, and if you arrive early enough you can snag the loge seats and put your feet up while watching a first-run film. Tuesday is family day - check the theatre for policy and prices - and they offer very inexpensive matinee bargains as well. They also make their own delicious popcorn. As restaurants go, I hope you like the delicious popcorn.
Pros: inexpensive, local, first-run
Cons: not a restaurant
