I took lessons here when I was younger and it was absolutely terrible. Crowded space, and I used a 3/4 sized guitar at the time. They don't have the greatest 'teachers' either. Lu...

Great... all around 3/29/2011

Cindy's Guitar Plus is great in all aspects you can think of. There is a good selection to choose from:acoustic and electric guitars, amps, violins, fiddles, and accessories. Prices on equipment in general are awesome. The guitar lessons are great; so great that even though this is the only place I've had lessons, I wouldn't bother looking for another location. The service is excellent. You'll notice that when you walk in, your treated like an interested person, not as just a person with money in your pocket. Even if you're not very knowledgeable with your interests, you'll be given very good assistance and advice. Even though this store is not a big business chain like Guitar Center, you'll be extremely satisfied. more

Great Place to learn that music!!! 3/28/2011

I have to say that taking guitar and banjo lessons at Cindy's Guitar Plus has been a really encouraging experience as an adult student. There's a fun, relaxed atmosphere, and you can stop in any time and feel welcome (some shops practically ignore you). The guitar teachers are very talented (especially Bo who is fun and patient!), and Randy takes the time to maintain any instruments I've taken in. It's also a great place to buy, trade, or consign. Randy is a talented banjo teacher who is helping me to understand the complexities of playing a really fun instrument. I highly recommend this music store to anyone looking for quality teaching at very reasonable prices!\r \r Donna C. more

Overall Excellence 3/28/2011

I've been taking lessons here for several years, my musical knowledge has increased by leaps and bounds due to the wonderful instruction by my teacher, Matt. Both he and Randy are extremely knowledgeable in their field and can help anyone. All of the maintenance and accessories are at some of the lowest prices possible, much better than that of Guitar Center's, with more attention to the little things. Overall, I'd reccommend Cindy's to anyone looking to pick up an instrument, you won't be disappointed. more

Best guitar lessons 3/28/2011

I've tried guitar lessons at other places, on line and even tried to teach myself until a friend recommended Cindy's to me. After 4 lessons with Matt I come to the conclusion that all others were merely a waste of valuable time(I""M 52 just learning to play). Everyone there is friendly, and courteous, my instructer Matt is thorough and knowledgeable of many styles of music. If you are interested in taking Guitar lesson I highly recommend Cindy's and oh yea, their price was far better than the other places I had been to or contacted, give them a try you won't be disappointed. :) :) 3/26/2011

I personally take lessons at Cindy's and I absolutely LOVE it. Usually, when I go to Guitar Center or any other places like that I feel a little intimidated, but Cindy's is completely different. As soon as you walk in, you're immediately greeted by Randy. He's just great. My first time going in the store, he was so helpful and even helped me chose my first guitar. Whenever there is a problem with my guitar, he is always willing to fix it for free. My lessons are very affordable too. I love love love my instructor times 10. He is so enthusiastic about music, and he helps my learn the music of my choice. I reccomend Cindy's Guitar Plus to anyone who loves music and wants to increase their knowledge of the guitar, bass guitar, etc. and I especially reccomend it to beginners. more

Wonderful Business 3/25/2011

When we open the door to walk into Cindy's Guitar plus we are always greeted with a very friendly, hello, how are you?\r My 7 year old daughter takes lessons and she loves it. She feels very comfortable there and really likes her teacher. That makes me comfortable knowing she is being taught by a very good teacher and that she enjoys going there. \r Randy is very knowledgable about the instruments and how to play them. He is always there and ready to help you with whatever you need. He is also very honest. The prices of the instruments and lessons are very reasonable. \r I would reccomend this business to everyone. more

simple as this: THEY'RE GREAT 3/25/2011

When you walk into Cindy's you always feel welcome. They have a large selection of musical instruments(mostly guitars). Also, they sell lots of other things ,too, like amps and guitar equipment. If you want to learn how to play the drums, guitar, or bass guitar, Cindy's has a teachers that will teach you anything you want to know about that instrument. Lesson are REALLY affordable too!$! They have an organized policy to keep track of your money. Some other place that has lessons where so unorganized, that they argued with us about if we paid or not (which we DID, but THEY lost it).\r \r Your time at Cindy's will pay off. more

Nurtures Creativity 3/25/2011

My son loves Randy and Matt. He started at 6 yrs old. He is very creative and less structured. Matt makes it fun and encourages his creativity to write songs. Many of his school friends take lessons here and they all have had wonderful teachers. Most play in church and school musicals. Resonable price too. Randy knows everything there is to know about guitars and music. Parents get treated to great stories and interesting conversation while waiting for the session to end;) more

Rock Star Lessons 3/24/2011

My daughter age 10 has been taking lessons for one year now. She started with the ""Acoustic Guitar Package"" which is excellent for first time players. The price included a guitar, bag, tuner ,picks, and free lessions. The best part of her week is knowing that every Thursday she gets closer to her goal of learning the guitar. Not only does she learn the basics of the guitar and learning to read music, she learns to play the songs that are important to her. Her instructer, Bo, is excellent and gives her positive compliments. Cindy's Guitar is the highlight of my daughters week. more

Great People 3/24/2011

I have two sons who take lessons here. Their progress is amazing, thanks to their fabulous instructor. He makes their lessons fun by teaching them the music they are interested in playing, but he still includes ""the basics"" that they need to know to master their instruments. We have also purchased several instruments (a violin, a bass, an electric guitar, and an acoustic guitar), as well as a few amps at Cindy's. Everything is always in fantastic condition, and Randy is always ready to help if you need your strings changed or information on anything that is stringed-instrument related. more

A wonderful experience!!! 3/24/2011

My husband and both of my children take lessons at Cindy's Guitar Plus. My son is studying bass guitar, my daughter is learning basic guitar and my husband classical guitar. The instructors are very well educated and are wonderful with my kids. They listen to the needs of the student. My husband learned ""Blackbird"" his first month of lessons. The lessons and instruments are affordable. It has been a wonderful experience. I would highly recommend Cindy's Guitar. more

Fantastic Lessons. 3/23/2011

I have personally been taking lessons (both guitar and bass) here for about six years and i absolutely love it. The teachers are fantastic and very enthusiastic. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking to continue guitar lessons or even if you are just starting. more

Excellent and Affordable 3/23/2011

My daughter (6) has had a wonderful experience at Cindy's Guitar. She has learned so much since she has started. Her instructor is extremely knowledgable and has kept her excited about learning to play the guitar. The lessons are reasonably priced. I had heard great things about Cindy's in the past and was not disappointed. We are very happy! more

Unprofessional and borderline abusive to students 2/25/2011

My son (7) was going there for lessons for several months. However we just discovered his ""instructor"" spent an entire lesson belittling him because he couldn't tune his guitar. No one has ever shown him how to tune a guitar! My son tried in vain to tune it for 30 minutes while the teacher made fun of him and called him a baby and pretended to cry at him. ABSOLUTELY NO EXCUSE FOR THIS! AVOID AVOID AVOID! more
