I met Charis Romano through tennis and was asked by her If I wanted to appear as an extra in an episode of Criminal Minds. I jumped at the chance and then Charis did even better. She sent a picture of me to the production company and managed to get me an opportunity to do a walk on part. I had three scenes, and one with the guest star on this episode, Dean Cain. I even ended up having lunch with him on the set. This was a wonderful experience and everyone was so professional and nice. I am now represented by Charis and Cindy Romano. I have been proposed for a commercial and now more recently they have asked me to audition for a role in a new feature length movie. I believe they work hard for their clients and would not take on anyone they did not think they could get work for. Great people, sincere and honest, I am in good hands !!!!! more

I could not be happier represented by Cindy Romano Modeling and Talent Agency. True professionals in the biz. At my interview they told me I had a look that would work. They needed pictures to submit to their clients and told me to go and find a photographer. I had difficulty finding one at a reasonable price and ended up calling the agency back who recommended using Charis who did a great job. Selecting Charis to do my photography was my decision and I could not be happier with the results. I have been working ever since. Great agency! No ""scam"" here! more

I've had a couple of commercial agents in Los Angeles before and I got submitted on rare occasions and for jobs that I didn't fit for. A mutual contact introduced me to Cindy for a job for Bridgestone Tires that fit me perfectly. After doing the job, Cindy offered to represent me. If you are reading this, remember that you get an agent to submit you for work, not to get you the job. You need to represent yourself professionally and be ready to interview and present yourself well, exactly as you are. Get photos of yourself that aren't you ""at your best"", like glamour shots. Have shots that really are YOU. Update your pictures often. more

Sharis-the daughter of Cindy Romano-WHAT a scam artist!!!! We walked and decided the pictures were too pricey and then she called us saying there is SO much work for my child right this minute! The work is stuff that the other agency models wouldn't take because it was less than what they normally make but still $50+ an hour. She dropped the price she had quoted for photos and we did the shoot. It was such a great time and the whole time we thought all of this work will have these photos paid off in no time! WRONG!!!! After months of no word I finally called this woman. She had the audacity to tell me that she can send the pictures out but can't guarantee that she'll be picked! LOL! Funny how that part was left out of the big SELL of how much business she had for my child. Don't do business with this agency. Find a reputable agency who doesn't charge you for pictures. more

I have worked with Cindy Romano for... geez... probably going on 18 years now, and they just don't come any better than she is! Being a good person and helping talent book jobs is her TOP business priority. The Romano Agency signed my children 2 months ago and one of them has already booked a National Commercial and the other has booked 2 print jobs. We were just astonished at how hard this agency works for us. I loved and appreciated how the children were not requested to take any classes and we were able to get pictures anywhere we wanted and with any photographer we wanted. They are just a first class agency. Finally agents that care.... Pros: THEIR NUMBER 1 PRIORITY IS GETTING THEIR TALENT WORK. more

This is one of those agencies that you wish you had read about before falling for the oldest trick in the book when you are trying to break into modeling - Real agencies don't request your money or suggest you take photos with them.\r \r Cheris, the wanna be photographer at Cindy Romano Agency, will lead you to believe you will book work through this agency. Rule of thumb: Talent agencies book JOBS (they DO NOT do bootleg photography.) \r \r She soft pedals her photography option but you figure, ""I'll get work if she takes the photos"", so you fork over the $400. Now that you've done that, I'm sorry to say, but you can count yourself another foolish person who fell for their scam.\r \r My advice: Find a REAL photographer AND a REAL agency. Absolutely the best agency in the desert, let alone Southern Ca. I have been a professional model and actress for the past 15 years and Cindy has represented me throughout my career. Besides negotiating brilliantly on my behalf ( My Los Angeles and San Diego Agency would still get decent rates, but nothing compared to Cindy) She knows the ins and outs of the industry and always ensures her talent is well protected on set and on location. She is nationally recognized and her clients are top of the line production companies, high fashion houses, national commercial print clients, really I could go on and on. I am writing because I find it truly amazing that people can write an obviously close to illiterate review and possibly cause damage to someone whom has worked tirelessly on my, and other professional actors and models, behalf. I would suggest to this particular reviewer that it might behoove them to A) Get an education, especially in regards to the industry. B) Perhaps reflect as to why they felt it neccessary to write such a scathing review... maybe they were not quite model/actor material.\r \r Regardless, I have booked, by no exaggeration, hundreds of print, commercial, theatrical & promotional jobs through the Cindy Romano Agency and at the beginning of my career she was the one who helped me obtain my SAG card - which everyone knows is crucial to any legitimate acting work. Cindy Romano Modeling and Talent Agency is a professional Agency !!! I personally work for her and she is one of the nicest, and most caring Agents that I have ever been represented by! I wanted to have pictures taken so they said I could find my own photographer. After my card was printed I didn't get that much work at first but then work started pouring in and I now get a job almost every couple of weeks!! ""Cindy Romano's agency""..by Nadiah Lopez.\r \r When I went to her modeling agency, everything seemed real, i don't know why people are saying that it's all a ""SCAM""!!..Cause when i went Cindy was really nice, she told me that i could be a model that i had everything it took. She even invited me to one of her classes that she was having in April. She had it in Desert Hot Springs, in a place called ""The White House"". She wanted me to go to her studio in Palm Desert so she can take some pictures of me so she can make the cards that i need so she can give them to other agency's and get me more jobs, but i ended up not going cause i didn't have the amount of money that she wanted for the pictures so i just stopped going to her agency. Do not sign anything in Cindy Romano's office! I can only WARN YOU this is a SCAM!!\r \r This agency is unprofessional, rude, and ill mannered. They try to rip off aspiring models, saying that they are a ""professional modeling and talent agency"" is BOGUS! Yes, they may have a license, but that is something that money can obviously buy. \r \r They first tell you that you must be over 26 years old to get work from ""their clients""...who are their clients, you may ask...they answer with NO ONE REPUTABLE. Just some charity fashion shows at elderly luncheons in the desert. \r \r Then they pick you apart and tell you that your pictures are no good, force you to take photographs with ""their photographer""...who turns out to be the agency owner's daughter...and she is completely unqualified to take professional photos. She uses flimsy plastic disposable camera and then hands you the film to develop yourself. No studio, no makeup artist, just a couple of candid shots in her office. \r \r WARNING: DO NOT JOIN THIS AGENCY-YOU WILL BE DISSAPPOINTED!! Every model in the desert has attempted to join this agency in good faith and has been disgusted by what they saw and heard in the office! \r Pros: NOTHING!
