Cinder Inn

This place is filthy and the food was horrible. The manager was not a person that I would ever want to say another word to in my entire life. I think that she is in the wrong business. NOT A CUSTOMER AWARE person. Don't bother to go there. I saw one of the customers was so drunk and he staggered down the street and ended in a snow drift in the middle of winter. more

They don't like strangers. They aren't very welcoming to patrons who they don't know. In fact the people that moved in a few doors down were treated so rudely they won't even go there! I was with someone who was kicked out for nodding slightly after one beer and a long day of work. I know 6 different people who have been kicked out for very little reason. Beware of the cook with severe short man complex - he has initiated a lot of the tosses. Most disgusting bathrooms in the Poconos and for whatever reason, people have dirtier ""relations"" in them. more

haha that is great flying cook monkey! ricky is going to love that. i have been going to the cinder for years now. it is the only bar i ever go to. and i have to say the owner has worked very hard to get the jerks out of the cinder. it is one place i feel very safe in. the funny thing is you will see them throw someone out of the bar. but u only maybe see the one side of it. maybe u dont see what that person did to get kicked out. bottom line is they dont put up with jerks! and i think that is great. no owner of a bar is gonig to kick someone out for no reason. there is always a reason. maybe it happen the night before. maybe it happen right in front of your face and u just didnt see it. they dont care how much money you spend. what they care about is the people that r there having a great time. i love the cinder!!! you guys rock!! all of you! and i lvoe the flying cook monkey toooo! :) Pros: awesome people! The Cinder Inn used to be more friendly. The place is cleaned up a bit more now and the bar food is pretty decent and affordable. Most of the bartenders are great. However, don't get on the wrong side of the owner or her flying monkey of a cook. They don't take a liking to you and the slightest provocation will get you THROWN OUT! Good bands and such but it is kind of crowded when the really popular acts are there. Pros: Usually good bartenders and decent bar food at the right price Cons: The owner and the cook can get really nasty as to who rocks and who rolls right out the door for no good reason more

the cinder is a great bar with an awesome atmosphere. you can walk in 1 night and its laid back and comfortable, walk in the next night and its standing room only. overall there is a very mixed crowd there wich is another nice bonus. great food and even better people....the bartenders are the best in the poconos!!! more
