... unless you're at Cilantro's. My husband and I stopped there on our way down to Riverstreet to grab a quick bite. From the get go, the server seemed rather disinterested when introducing himself, by playing with his name tag rather than speaking to us directly. We quickly gave a drink order and he was on his way. Thankfully the drink order was correct, because he managed to mess up the simplest of orders. When our food arrived, my husband promptly sent it back, since it was incorrect, then the server came over to the table and argued about what we wanted. My order, too, was incorrect and cold, however, I just accepted that it was going to be incorrect and moved on (even though, I didn't finish the meal). Finally, my husband got what he originally ordered, well after my meal was finished. The server kept pleading that he was new, and as understandable as that can be, DON'T ARGUE with your customer, it doesn't help your case. (Being a former server, I know just to make them happy, after all, it's your tip that's on the line). Wish we would've chosen somewhere else for lunch -- the food wasn't terrible, but the service was.
