Cilantro for maragaritas in NY 10/5/2006

I just spoke with a friend of mine who lives in Portchester but works in the city. She said that the best place she would recommend for Margartitas is called, Cilantro. She said it's Mexican/Southwestern style food. She says the food isn't the best, but the margaritas are the best she has ever had except in Chicago where she is from. Great mexican food, and the best sangria! 9/15/2005

Cilantro has a great selection of entrées and a lot of things for vegetarians too. Their white sangria is my FAVORITE! The red one is good too. Margaritas are loved by all. They have a good list of specials. Oh, and the chips are excellent. They are warm and crisp. I highly recommend stopping by. There is also outdoor seating when it's nice outside. more

this mexican is my favorite 8/28/2005

Cilantro is one of my favorite mexican spots on the upper east side, actually in all of new york city. The atmosphere i.e. music is great, the staff is nice, and the food is out of this world, and they have great drinks. Try the nachos, quesadillas, and fajitas. In addition they have specials each day which are quite delicious. more

Pretty Good Mexican 6/19/2005

Cilantro is one of those places you wish would have great food, but it is only pretty good. It has a pretty festive atmosphere with very strong margaritas. The fajitas are good, but not quite worth the price. It's still one of the better mexican options uptown more
