If it was possible to give a zero for this rating, I would have. I used this kennel as a last resort on Labor Day Weekend and I will never do so again. Upon pick-up, I wasn't very pleased with the cleanliness of the kennels and the water bowl used was a bucket twice the height of my yorkies (and mine are almost a foot tall)! The only way they could get to the water was to put two legs on the bucket and attempt to lean their heads down in. Thankfully the bucket was full otherwise they wouldn't have been able to reach it. \r

Also upon pick up I was informed that the owner, Bonnie Sue, charges for the day of pick up and only accepts cash or check. I have NEVER encountered a kennel or vet who charged for the day of pick up. Bonnie Sue tried to tell me she is the cheapest kennel around, but I completely disagree. She was unfriendly during the conversation and tried to explain her reasoning to me like I was a child. You can't argue with numbers, and let me show you why:\r

The most expensive kennel in the NE San Antonio area is Schertz Animal Hospital, which charges $14.50/dog/night. They do not charge for the day of pick up. SO... If I was to board my dogs at the Schertz clinic for two nights, I would pay $58. If I was to board my dogs at Cibolo Creek Kennels I would pay $11.00/dog/night, totaling $44, BUT I have to pay an extra $22 for the day of pick up (even if I pick up at 8:00 a.m.!!!!), so my total would be $66. Therefore, Cibolo Creek Kennels is not cheaper than any other kennels in the NEside of San Antonio. In fact, she is the most expensive. She's also rude.\r

I would highly recommend Pawderosa Pet Ranch, Rob Cary, or Green Dog Kennels. If a last resort, I would use Universal City Animal Hospital or Schertz Animal Hospital. Check their reviews and you'll see why.
