A very different place with tango dancing and sometimes live music like a harp playing beautifully in the background. Food was good and service great. Put this one on your 'To Do'...

We all got our food but mother . They said oh yet order was on bottom cook didn't see it, her food came out after we were all done. I. Talked go manager and said this is unacceptable and he said well if u don't want it ill take it back and not charge u and grabed plate redly and stormed away. On top of that food was horrible. I will never go here again and bad mouth this place every chance I get. I as so tempted to curse the owner out DO NOT EAT HERE!!! more

Great Italian in La Mesa? Si' 8/12/2005

I asked myself that very question. This hidden location is home to the very best Italian cuisine in East San Diego. With many Italians living in San Diego, it is hard to say that one restaurant is the best. I can say this for Ciao Bella. You must make a reservation if you even want to eat there. Weekends are very busy, and there is not a lot of seating. Try the spinach salad, and the prosciutto with melon. Molto Bene! The servers are all speaking (yelling) in Italian just like at home! more
