Chutney & Pickle Fine Indian

We thought the food was the best in the area. Lovely ambiance, and service was great. They could lose the big screen tv during dinner hour and just play music though. Regardless we will return because this is the best in the area. Give it a try ! more

First time at restaurant. Food was fair, Nan was good. Price a bit expensive. Had a coupon for $5 off but when I paid they gave me 5% off instead, which was about half the worth of the coupon. When I brought it to their attention they just told me to keep the coupon for the next time I come in!! The coupon had an expiration date which would not have been valid if I used it next time. It was the principle of the of it all more than the value of the coupon that makes me not want to return. more

Ambience is great...Enjoyed their chicken biriani and chaat first time we went. Second time didn't enjoy their lunch buffet, bland taste and not authentic. Third time around same experience. A change in chef is needed especially if they want to succeed with a great looking restaurant in the heart of coral springs. People will have high expectations! more

I like it, even though not real Indian food. Great ambience and still a good place for diner. I prefer Khana Kashana on the other side of the road for the food - I like it Indin spicy. more

Have to agree with previous reviewer..It was our third visit tonight and I tried the mixed grill for the first time and it was excellent in every way....My daughter had the lamb pasanda (she is 7) and she loved it.. I tried it and the lamb was exceptionally tender and lean - we are British and have had excellent Indian in the Uk but up until now have struggled to fin anywhere really good here.. this place excels..Naan Bread very good..Korma great, chicken tikka massala..really nicely balanced...only down side is that the poppadums are cold and not as crisp as freshly cooked ones but will live with that............a big thumbs up!! more

Great decor however, unfortunately I have to say that this is the worst customer service I have ever experienced. The waiter was audacious enough to ask for 2 $ fee to package food for home!\r Just Incredulous!! The manager was unable to explain the irrational behavior of his staff indicating that they were joking.\r The mixed grill came out with undercooked potatoes and cinder burned lamb chop.\r Unable to recomend this place. If you want good Indian food go to any of the other Indian restaurants in Coral Springs but not "Chutney and Pickle" more

I went to this restaurant and I would like to say that nobody came to me for good 5 mins. When the food came, it didnt taste as it should, nothing close to authentic. There was nothing great about the service as no server was paying attention towards the table, they were in their own world. Would not come back... Really disappointed with it.... more

I had heard good things about this place and decided to try their lunch buffet. I found the selection to be extremely limited unlike other indian restaurants like bombay grill or madras cafe. Plus the dishes were for the most part very bland since the spice levels had been americanized. Definately not authentic indian food. Kheer (or the rice pudding dessert) was undercooked and not good. The place had a nice contemporary feel. The service was good. They brought nan (indian bread) and tandoori chicken fresh to the table. That was a nice touch. Also the salad was pretty good. Overall they need more appetizers in their buffet, masala dosa and more main courses to compete with other indian restaurants in the area. I am unlikely to go here again eventhough it is much closer than other options more

I went to Chutney & Pickle Fine Indian Cuisine with my girlfriend this weekend, I will never go again! I found a roach in my food, & after having one in my food I looked around and saw one run under our table. That was enough for me, we stopped eating & asked for the check, we didn't want to chance trying anything else. more

it was my first time eating at an Indian restaurant, my friend insisted on having indian food so we went. I should say I was pleased to find out the food is actually good, good ambiance, clean and kinda contagious indian music. I should say I will go back and try some other dish next time but for a newbie... thumbs up! more

Simply loved it. Love the Deco as well. Great location, friendly staff. I can't say enough about this place! Make sure you order dessert, they are wonderful. more
