Shopped for years at Deseret. Clean, well-lighted facility. Recently learned they are the only thriftstore in area to wash all clothes before stocking, unless it will shrink, etc. And they pay the best in the area to their employees - maybe helpful to employees' positive attitude? And they are a non-profit run by a church that helps community regardless of church affiliation. Impressive! more

Deseret Industries has WONDERFUL deals! Very gently used baby clothes from .50cents, and most are only$1.oo! I found great name brand clothes in perfect condition for myself. T-shirts are $1.oo, and most items are only $3.oo and not more than $5.oo. I had money left over from Christmas to buy myself a sweater. Instead of getting one sweater from a department store I was able to buy NINE sweaters for that price at Deseret Industries! I have gotten so many compliments on my wardrobe and no one knows they are from a thrift store. If you are looking for great deals I suggest stopping by! Most thrift stores are getting overpriced. I think the quality is so much better here, and you cannot beat the price. The staff is very friendly as well. Inventory changes regualarly. I always find something great each time IK shop there. more

I've gotten some really good deals here. The clothes, for second hand, are of good quality and are very cheap $. I always walk out of this store happy. I've purchased furniture (a chair, tables, and lamps), and other odds and ends here also. The people are always friendly and go out of their way to help you out if you need it.
