Christy's Ny Cheesecake Bakery

I purchased a special order cake for a friends birthday! When i came to pick it up I bought additional items totaling around $50.00. I asked how long the cake would last and was told one week in the fridge and probably two weeks if frozen. My friend put the cake in the freezer and then took it out to enjoy with friends a few days latter. I was out of State on Vacation and when i returned I was told that the cake was sour and spoiled. I went to Chrisy's to return the cake and ask for a credit to buy something else. The cake clearly had not been eaten and only a sliver was missing! Chrisy was RUDE to me, she said she doesn't know where the cake has been and refused to give a credit. I did not want to argue so i said just throw it away and i will just buy some cookies with my money. She then tells me she will no longer serve me and that she is no longer comfortable with me shopping there. She told me to leave and never comeback. To me this is utterly disgusting disrespect. No one has ever spoken to me that way especially a business in which i had paid for a product and even agreed to have her just throw it away! WARNING!! Do not ever GO HERE! SHE IS NASTY, and her products are Mediocre at best! GOOGLE says Butter creme cakes can be frozen for MONTHS! CHRISTY, I WILL TELL EVERY ONE WHAT YOU HAVE DONE! YOU DARE TO TREAT A CUSTOMER LIKE CRAP? EVERYWHERE YOU LOOK YOU WILL SEE THIS! MR. NEWMAN YOUR LANDLORD WILL HEAR ABOUT THIS! more

Christy's is the BEST you will ever find in south florida. \r \r Everything i tried, the st. josephs pastry, cannoli, cheesecake, cookies, many assorted pastries, quiche, chocolate strawberries, chocolate candies, chocolate marshmallows, grain pie, muffins, you will not find better! \r \r She has the BEST employees around, so polite and helpful ...\r You absolutely MUST go in here immediately to experience this absolute heavenly experience for yourself! \r \r There is a quaint outdoor & indoor seating area...\r HURRY over for the BEST of EVERYTHING! you will definately NOT be disappointed! \r You have tried the rest, now try the absolute BEST!!!!!\r more

(Update:CLOSED) I did not want a Publix cake for the boss, so I placed a special order cake. Arrived and it was lopsided. Returned it for patch up, she refused to correct. Openly, her cakes and pastries are average, not bad. However, she comes across as odd or socially inept. Clearly lacks basic customer service skills. I feel bad; I try to give my business to small businesses in my town. I genuinely feel sorry for her. I cannot recommend this place. I do recommend, Napoleon bakery in West Palm. more

I purchased an array of items: cookies, rugelach, lobster tail. #16 - cookies that look like Pepperidge Farm Milano: disappointing, skimped on the jelly in between; they skimped on the fruit for the rugelach; the chocolate rugelach was dry and not fresh. The ""lobster tail"" had decent custard filling. I would hope so for $5 a piece. My total disappoint and I find this unacceptable: the decorative topping and cherry - dried out completely, totally not fresh. Why not be honest with a new customer and offer them a fresh dessert instead of something that's been sitting there. I've had better desserts elsewhere. more

I was recommended by someone I golf with about Christy’s. I will say she is very personable and the deserts are excellent. more

What she has is the best. Pros: Small shop feel, very nice Cons: not the biggest variety more
