I've had a couple of friends tell me this place was good. And I always meant to go down there and try it but never got around to doing so. Last night after work, I met up with my wife, kids and my mother in law and my mother in law suggested we try it.\r

The three adults each ordered a Gyro and my wife and I decided to split a small salad. The kids shared a small pizza. The salad was excellent - fresh vine ripened tomatoes, seasoned Greek olives; Feta cheese and an olive oil based Greek salad dressing. A very firm, vine ripened tomato is a true delicacy - and this guy's tomatoes were amazing. The salad was mouth watering and delicious. But the real stunner was yet to come.\r

Our waitress brought out three of the biggest Gyros I have ever seen. They do NOT skimp on the meat!! Made with delicious lamb and Tzatziki sauce with lettuce, a lightly grilled pita roll and fresh tomato slices, this is a sure thing. The flavor of the meat was fantastic. I HATE restaurants that use ground beef and try to pass it off as lamb - as if a Gyro lover wouldn't notice the difference. The owner of THIS restaurant is clearly a purist.\r

We gorged ourselves on the food and as we were leaving, the owner came out and treated us like he'd known us for years. A very affable Greek American guy that was full of good humor, and very down to earth and outgoing. I liked him immediately. I can tell you, we'll DEFINITELY be back. In fact, I may make a few lunch stops there from time to time - even if I just get one of those big Gyros for a take out lunch. \r

The prices are right and the service is excellent. I HIGHLY recommend this restaurant!!\r
