No bedside manner 4/1/2016

So I had moved to the area from pa last year I went there with a lot of health problems he was pissy and overwhelmed by me and just wanted me to get testing done well I didn't bc of my experience so then I needed a dr and all that was aval was him omg he yelled at me for not getting testing done told me I better not waste everyone's time again he never exams me he gave me a few scripts I had to practically beg for them he gave me a bunch of referrals and pushed me out the door o had told him I was sorry my mother in law had just died which she had he didn't even look up at me could care less just wanted me out of the room I'm really hurt and confused am I being punished or is he just a jerk so frustrating more

I also stopped visiting this doctor. Though Dr. Christopherson does good work, I just did not feel comfortable here. I also felt as if I might have been being given too many blood tests and other things that I could not afford. For example, I would be given a blood test that would check out fine and then 3 or 4 months later I would be given the same test again apparently just to "check" things. This would have been ok I guess but I just could not afford to "troubleshoot" my health at that time. I needed more definite answers without emptying my purse. more

Cattle or not cattle 4/11/2006

Years ago my husband and I were patience’s of Dr. Christopherson’s. We started out really liked him and his staff. Dr. Christopherson has one staff member who is rude and hateful to most everyone. Almost every dealing I had with her was not a good experience. I found her to be very offensive. She was over heard saying things like “ You wouldn’t be over weight if you quit eating all of the time” or “ Stop feeling sorry for yourself” (This person was being treated for depression) As her behavior got worst, we began to feel like cattle. The staff was beginning told to get us in and out. We were rushed and not always listened too. Finally my husband and I felt we were best suited to move to another practice. more

Not very happy... 4/8/2006

Competent doctor but I was unhappy with the way I saw people being treated by his office (especially a certain person whom shall remain nameless). I also got the impression that sometimes the "disease-of-the-week" was being diagnosed. Do not get me wrong. i would not be worried about his abilities to aid and cure. I just like my doctor to have a better bed-side manner. more
