2 weeks ago I had Christopher John Electrical come and upgrade all electrical power to my home, they installed a new meter and a new panel. Things started good from the minute I called, the girls that answer the phone were pleasant, the owner personally spoke with me in regards to the job and Paul did a great job explaining things to me in a way that I could understand. He wore booties to cover his work boots, and laid down a carpet so that he tools wouldnt mess up my floors. He worked quietly and did a wonderful job. He even cleaned up before he left, it looked like no one had even done work (which made my wife happy) I would recommend Christopher John Electrical to anyone anytime. more

I have been renovating my home on and off for about 7 years. Almost of the people that have come to do work have not been on time..or they have given a window of 2 hours and come at the end of the 2 hours or later..These guys showed up on time and were ready to get started. They finished fast and cleaned up and were on their way in no time and did a wonderful job. They ran wiring and hung recessed lighting in 3 rooms. Price was right!! They will being doing more work on a regular basis for me. more

We had a horrible contractor experience 3 years ago and had been left shell shocked to get anything done since then, but we really wanted a new hanging pendant light installed - not a major job obviously, but was really not trusting anyone anymore. Well after having three electricians come in to take a look and give us a quote, Christopher John's electricians were by far the ones that stood out. C Christopher John only charges $39 for the initial consultation where as the two other electricians we spoke with charged over $100 just to come in - and these guys actually consulted with me vs. what I received from the other two. Steve was the lead of our team and was so knowledgeable and patient to help me go through exactly what I needed to buy. When they came back to install, Steve was assisted by Ray and I can't say enough about how great and professional they were. more

I am an Interior Designer and have worked with many companies over the past 15 years. CJE provided excellent service. I was given a complete proposal ahead of time and the price given was 100% honored. Everyone has been extremely helpful, friendly and on time. The electricians showed up as a team of 2 and installed a large number of very expensive light fixtures in my clients Central Park South condo. Both workers were super neat, clean, on time ad did a terrific job! The next day I received a follow up phone call from the office to see how everything went and if I was happy with the job. I can only highly recommend this company! more

I had Christopher John Electrical rewire two outlets, run electrical to my bedroom ceiling and install a ceiling fan. Working with them was a pleasant and pain-free experience. They worked with me to comply with my co-op's slightly onerous regulations and were professional and considerate about noise and dust. The men worked quick, and were friendly and polite. Their office staff was also a good bunch. I will definitely recommend them and use them for work I have in the future. more

Gerard just left my building after fixing our furnace circuit breaker. What a pleasant experience it was dealing with him and with your company. Your receptionist and Leon on the phone were great -- it's so important to get the details about the costs up front, and to know when the electrician will be coming, and they had all the info and kept me up to date. Gerard was very professional and courteous, and went over all of the details thoroughly with me. more

This company was fantastic. We had a series of major electrical problems and they were prompt, courteous, efficient and responsive. They were available at all hours to answer phone calls and went out of their way to repeatedly contact Con Ed when they failed to show up. If you need any electrical work, look no further! more
