Went there Monday June 30 to celebrate someone elses birthday with a party of 4. reservations hade been made. Ridiculously expensive considering the quality of meat and fish serve...

Busy,but fun! LOVED the calamari, a little different w/ some sweet and some spice. My favorite was the bone-in ribeye. Cooked perfectly w/ just enough seasoning. Finished off with their mandarin orange cake. HUGE!!! Definiteley big enough to share. Our waiter was friendly and efficient. Had a coffee w/ Baileys @ the piano bar where we listened to some old style piano. Fun, fun, fun!!!!!!!! more

  • Del Frisco s Prime Steak and Lobster has been awarded the International Diamond Award form the American Academy of Hospitality Services. The restaurant has also received the Golden Spoon Award from Florida Trend Magazine, and in 2004, was named Best Steakhouse by City Search. Del Frisco s is a steakhouse in Orlando, Fla., that is owned and operated by Russ and Carole Christner. The restaurant, which also features a piano lounge for nightly entertainment, offers a menu that is heavy on steak and seafood. Appetizers include a shrimp sampler, crabcakes and lobster bisque. Del Frisco s entrees include a variety of steaks, lobster, shrimp and veal dishes. The restaurant offers bread that is baked fresh daily, United States Department of Agriculture prime corn-fed beef from the Midwest and cold water Australian lobster tails.. Seafood

    Dark and cozy, lined with burgundy booths under hanging lamps, Del Frisco's could double as a fine Italian restaurant. When busy, it bustles. At the next table, you're likely to overhear proposals of all kinds, from marriage to merger. Service is unpretentious.

    The Food
    High-end meat and fish. Like most steakhouses, Del Frisco's serves potatoes and vegetables a la carte, but it also offers combo plates--"lagniappe"--for instance, a 10-ounce ribeye with mashed potatoes. Homebaked desserts like mandarin orange cake have also earned the restaurant its dedicated following. Best bets are the wide selection of steaks. Also, the "Chateau" potatoes are simply mashed--but delicious--thanks to lots of butter and cracked pepper.
