Man-oh-man. This one really stumps me. I understand that ""family"" oriented food needs to be somewhat tamer than authentic ethnic food - in other words ""BLAND"". But Cristina's is the absolute bottom of the barrel. Every dish is like mashed potatoes with Velveeta sauce. The so called salsa is very likely straight from the can of diced tomatoes. The chips drip grease. In fact most everything on the menu seems to come straight from a can. Both the original location (sandwiched between a graveyard and a gas station, which should be a hint) and the newer location (by the Bed Bath & Beyond) indicate they are aiming for family fare...but hey Mom...junior gets spicier food in the school lunchroom. So do the geriatrics in an old folks home. And everything on the menu is a diabetic's nightmare. Can there be enough of the population in Flower Mound (Lewisville/Highland Village) who love listless, tasteless food? Makes me shrug. I sure do not get it.
