Christensen & Wisnet Heat & Ac

We abruptly had our older furnace go out in Dec and Christensen & Wisnet were extremely accommodating and friendly to get us a quote and discuss our options. We had gotten two other quotes from competitors, but C&W's service and warranty made it a no-brainer to go with them. They made time to get our installation in right away, as we were without heat in winter. We also got a new hot water heater which they offered to move to a more accessible location for any future service. The installation was as professional and personal as they come and we couldn't be happier with our new setup. Customers for life! more

They will not stand behind their work, if they even do the work in the first place! My wife and I were buying a new house and we wanted the heating and cooling system gone through. Christensen & Wisnet came out in August and said our heating and cooling system were all OK, with a charge of $193. We move in and turn on our furnace for the FIRST time in November, and we have no heat. So my wife and I trouble shoot the furnace for simple things, breakers, exhaust, filter, etc. Well we found that the exhaust was clogged, strike one for Christensen. We clean that out and it still didn't work. We email Christensen & Wisnet and explain the situation telling them that this is the first time we turned on the furnace since moving in, show them our receipts, and suspect that the technician didn't possibly do a thorough job due to the exhaust being clogged. They said they would waive a diagnostic fee but still charge for service. I told them that was unacceptable, I would be willing to pay any part fee but I didn't think it was right and I didn't feel the heat was possibly even checked. They would not stand behind their work or even acknowledge that their technician may have messed up. We had a home warranty, so we called Black Haak Heating because I didn't feel the trust with Christensen, nor was I going to give them any more money for services that were possibly not done in the first place. The Black Haak tech showed up. I watched him because I wanted to see for myself. Imagine that, I WAS RIGHT!!! The Christensen tech would have never been able to run the heat due to 2 things, the vent was clogged AND there was a wire pulled off on the flame sensor which will not allow the furnace to heat at all. Thanks for not believing in your customers and backing up your work! So the moral of the story: 1. Christensen & Wisnet didn't do what they were paid to do in the first place. 2. Christensen & Wisnet wouldn't stand behind their work. 3. Christensen & Wisnet will gladly take more of your hard earned money a second time around for work they didn't do in the first place. 4. Give Black Haak a call instead, they even gave me a free furnace tune up for the future. more

My water heater went out the Friday of Labor Day Weekend. These guys got to my home within an hour of me asking for help even though they were booked up for the day. Since parts were needed, Erick ended up finishing the job at 6:30 pm!! True dedication to the customer...they really care. Thanks CW and special thanks to Erick!!! more

I called C&W to come service the boiler at my house. The tech sent was very professional. He gave my boiler a once over and pointed out that is was the original from the house (40 years old) and parts were no longer in production. Not to mention, the previous owner had cobbled the igniter together from other parts and it wasn't to code. He reviewed our options with us and we decided to replace the boiler. Te installation is a thing of beauty. Everything looks great, works great, and the tech that did the install was awesome. I'd definately recommend C&W to anyone needing hvac work. more

Was able to receive great service in a short time from calling the company was out of heat and they answered the phone and callesd with in minutes back,, had a service repair in no time .. very clean and knowledgeable about my repair they also where able to have the heat going in 30 minutes time . I was very happy with the service more

We have our heating system serviced every year by these folks -- ever since the year that our furnace went down in the middle of the winter and they came out immediately. In the winter, all of these businesses are booked solid, but they made time for us and got loyal customers in return. more
