I was charged for 3 balljoints on 2 separate occasions in 06-07. Later I wrecked into a deer in late 07 and was informed by the reputable repair shop that fixed my truck (who had nothing to gain by telling me this) that only one of my ball joints had ever been replaced, the other three still had the factory rivets attaching them to the truck. I was basically told by Chris's auto repair I had no proof, and therefore was pretty much out of luck. I have had to have several other repairs re-done since, and I will NEVER take my vehicle back to them. It is one thing to have to deal with the effects of shoddy workmanship, but to blatantly be charged for items not replaced is inexcusable.
