I used to be a loyal customer to Cho Cho San's Sushi Bar in North Wales, however, lately I have been disappointed with the service. My brother and I ordered the all you can eat Sunday sushi buffet and they seemed annoyed at the fact that we were ordering more. Isn't that the point? If you leave one grain of rice on your plate, they throw angry stares and reprimand you, ""if you do not eat everything on your plate, you pay extra!"" That is because they are skimping out on every single thing, but the rice. Cho Cho's is not worth going to. If you are interested in delicious sushi, try Osaka near the Wal-Mart on 309. Their shushi is worth every penny. more

so so sushi 4/17/2008

We went in for lunch, and from the reviews had high hopes.. Well I'm glad I didn't order more than I did. My sushi came out drenched in soy to the point it was falling apart.. this was not a roll but hamachi.. My wife had the chicken on the screwer appetizer and it was so over cooked it was hard to chew.. We asked about different rolls and the wait staff either couldn't answer the question or didn't want to. For the $ I was highly disappointed and will not return ever.. I travel all over the east coast for work and try sushi at every chance I get. This was bad.. There are better places nearby that have better service.. Pros: Nice clean place Cons: waitstaff poor help more

Best Sushi 1/23/2008

You have got to try this place... It is the best we have found in the counrty. We have tried other places from the East to the West and the South to the North. We keep coming back. We have been going there for years, the atmosphere is very inviting, they have gotten to know us by name and what our appetizers are. Everyone we have recommended to try Cho Cho San has come back and thanked us for introducing them to this fablous restaurant. Recommendations are to try the Spicy Yellow Tail Sandwich, Terry Roll, Rock N Roll, and the Dinosaur Roll. For a diffrent type of dessert try the Rudy Sushi that is how we like to finish at Cho Cho San. more

Best sushi in the suburbs 4/1/2005

This restaurant, while located in a strip mall, has very friendly service and excellent food. They have the best house salad I have ever tasted, with a ginger dressing that has clean, crisp, and bright flavors. The sushi is very fresh and absolutely delicious, as are the cooked entrees (particularly the shrimp hibachi and beef teriyaki). The prices are very reasonable, particularly for the quality. My family and I have been there enough that they know us by name. Try the house salad, the American Dream roll, and the banana tempura. more

Consistently great sushi 10/22/2002

Have dined in once, had take-out a few times. Consistently flavorful and beautiful presentation. Fast service. Prices average...almost too much? I've most enjoyed the spicy tuna roll and shrimp tempura roll... Once had a bland tuna sushi a la carte experience, but would like to try them again before ""handing down final judgement."" I LOOOOOOVE this place! 10/14/2002

This place is really the best! I've tried sushi all over the country and it's strange to say that the best sushi ANYWHERE is in a North Wales strip mall. BUT IT'S TRUE!! The roll menu is more extensive than any in the area. The food is the most delicious, period. The staff is so personal and attentive - very kind, indeed. Even my 7 year old daughter craves this stuff! You GOTTA go! And oh, my daughter highly recommends the Godzilla roll and the house salad with ginger dressing.
