Chittick Family Eye Care - Hoopeston 11/11/2011

Very friendly staff. However after making appointment at least two weeks in advance when I reached the off the appointment had been lost. They do remember talking to me on the phone. They did get me in after a very short wait. After mentioning several times that I thought the bill was a lot higher then my husband had paid about a year back no mention of senior discount was mentioned. After leaving the office and returning to Watseka, I made a phone call and asked about the senior discount, yes it applied. At that point they advised me they have forgot to measure my eyes and I needed to make a return trip to Hoopeston before the lens could be ordered. That is a 30 to 35 minute trip one way. Once again they were very friendly but that is a lot of errors in just one visit. Have not yet received my new lenses so hope all goes well then. more

All Good at Chittick in Hoopeston 9/28/2011

My experience at the Hoopeston facility was excellant. Dr. Kelley was very professional and I left very satisfied with the exam. I feel Dr. Kelley and his assistant listened and addressed my concerns. The entire staff was very friendly and helpful. I don't see how my exam could of been any better. I would definately recommend Chittick Family Eye Care - Hoopeston to anyone. We are very fortunate to have them in Hoopeston. Thank you! more

Very good job 9/27/2011

They got us right in took very good care of us and where very through to see what was going on with my husbands eyes. They referred us to a doctor right away when they noticed a problem. Thanks keep up the great work. more

Facility & Staff 9/22/2011

The staff at the Hoopeston & Danville facilities are courteous and knowledable. The Danville facility is wonderfully decorated and the equipment is up-to-date. The Hoopeston facility needs to be provided with the same level of equipment and furnishings, in order to keep the Chittick name and quality of care consistant across the boards. I enjoyed the professional care I received from Dr. Kelly, the technicians, the front desk and optical department. more

Eye appointment follow up 8/11/2011

I always enjoy the staff and the Doctor at my eye appointments. I know that school is starting and many people waiting too long to get their children in for appointments. I've had my appointment for a month. I sat in the waiting room for 30 minutes along with two other people who waited over that time. Waiting for the doctor after the initial exam was another 15 minutes and then 15 minutes with him. He's very personable so it was a good experience. I missed school registration because I expected to be in and out in 30 minutes. Missing that made me late for my appointment in the afternoon because I had to fit in registration today. I don't expect to spend an hour for a simple eye exam. I counted six people in the waiting room while I waited this morning. more

Would highly recommend Chittick 8/4/2011

The entire staff at Chittick (Hoopeston) is wonderful. We are so fortunate to have the office in our small town. Dr Pellegrini has treated my eye condition for many years and is so patient with me. I get stressed out having the annual procedures done. I would highly recommend Chittick. more

The people who works there are great. They got me in the same day because I had a medical issue. Doctors took their time and ran every test they could to help me. I never felt like they wanted me in and out. Took time to explain, and even looked up web sites for me to read. They didn't put me in contacts or glasses just to make a dollar. They gave me belief in what I wanted to do with my problem and are helping me to fix. First class all the way! more

Late and Rude 6/30/2011

I was pretty disappointed with my visit today. I waited an hour and a half to see the doctor for a five minute follow up. While I was waiting, the receptionist had an issue with another client, and I heard her whispering about it to a fellow employee. I thought it was very unprofessional, and I was embarrassed for the other client. With that said, the doctor is good, but I'm not sure it's worth the hassle. more

appointment 6/17/2011

I have a fear of having my eyes touched and the office was very understanding and made me feel comfortable. I usually feel very silly about this fear and they put me at ease. I was able to get in very quickly and the prices for glasses were very reasonable. From start to finish this was one of the best eye experiences I have had. more
