Money for nothing 12/3/2010

Over the last three weeks, our cat hasn't been eating as well as she should. After charging us $350 for "tests", the vet concluded he doesn't know what is wrong with our cat and sent us home with the recommendation to try a different catfood. We are already feeding her Royal Canin so I doubt it is a food problem. So here we are $350 poorer with no prognosis as to what is wrong with our cat. This vet says the next step is to do expensive exploratory surgery. I sure won't be letting them do it. more

    +- Wellness Check-ups & Vaccinations: We complete a full exam and go over any previous history for your pet to determine the best vaccination and testing recommendations specific to your pet's medical and "lifestyle" needs.

    +- General Check-ups: Illnesses and injuries will occur from time to time. We are fully prepared to examine and treat those unexpected problems. Chisholm Ridge Pet Hospital has extensive in-house equipment available for urgent testing, including state-of-the-art C.B.C analyzer, blood chemistry & electrolyte machines, X-ray equipment, blood pressure monitor, Glaucoma analyzer, & electrocardiogram. Less urgent or more specialized testing is available thru a local laboratory with quick turn-around times on most tests.
