I don't think there's been a single time I haven't had to wait in line for at least 5-10 minutes to order, no matter what time or day. But it's always worth the wait! The chain is owned by McDonald's Corporation, but I think the food is pretty good quality. You can see the staff making the rice and guacamole and grilling the chicken as you order, which is nice. Chipotle has just about the BEST guacamole I've had in a restaurant, lots of chunks of avocado. more

Yum, if you can stand the wait 12/11/2005

Chipotle is great (I love the veggie bol with guacamole and my husband likes the steak bol), but be prepared to wait in line at least 15 minutes if you go during peak times (anywhere from 6-8 pm on the week nights and Saturday afternoon). But it's usually worth the wait! The food is fresh, you can see them grilling the chicken or beef on the grill behind you and you can watch them prepare the yummy rice or guacamole. They also serve margaritas and Mexican beer, which is unusual for a counter-service type place. more
