General manager: Paul Graebner
Course description: This executive course is situated at the foot of the Grand Mesa and offers panoramic views. There are a lot of trees, OB on half of the holes, and water on only one hole. The greens are generally elevated, well protected by mounding and offer distinct slopes.
Signature hole: No. 14 287 yards, par 4. A tight, tree-lined hole with an elevated tee which makes this play even shorter than it is listed.
Best birdie chance: No. 10 114 yards, par 3. A beautiful hole. The green slopes from back to front allowing it to accept shots nicely.
Play policy: No restrictions on public play. Carts are not required, and do not follow the 90-degree cart rule when used. Walking is allowed and pull carts are available. Shirts and spikeless shoes are required.
Reservation policy: Tee times may be made three days in advance.
Directions: From Interstate 70, take the Clifton exit toward Delta and the junction of U.S. 6 and Colorado 50 (approximately nine miles). Turn onto Colorado 50 and proceed south, and then east, for about five miles. Turn left at 29 Road and head north about one-half mile to the course. Look for a large American flag and sign.
Fees (18 holes/9 holes): Monday to Thursday ($16/$8); Friday to Sunday ($18/$9). Power cart rental ($12/$6); pull cart ($3/$2). John Shelton
