Fresh, tasty food; Excellent Service 2/16/2011

This is my favorite Chinese restaurant. The veggies are always crisp and fresh, never frozen or canned. My 4 year old loves the Mock Duck with Vegetables and the Beef Fun Noodles with Black Bean Sauce. I'm in love with their wok scrambled eggs with Tomato Sauce. Vegetarian selections are impeccable, but the owners are always willing to make changes to the fresh made food to make it exactly what we want. Next time: Mock Duck Fun Noodles with Black Bean Sauce! more

Avoid this restaurant! 2/22/2009

We recently ordered take-out. Unless the day we got food was an anomaly, there is no way our experience reflects those of the previous reviewers. 1) We were not acknowledged when we entered the restaurant, and our take-out just sat there and cooled off until finally someone decided to come to the front register. 2) The egg-foo young was the most disgusting I have ever had. It was flat and loaded with green stuff (vegetables?). 3) General Tso's Chicken had an okay sauce, but the chicken was mostly soggy breading with poor quality chicken. 4) The potstickers were the cheap frozen kind, and not home-made. We threw most of the meal away and had to find an alternative dinner. Do yourself a favor and avoid this restaurant. Pros: Non Cons: Poor quality food, poorly prepared. more

Best Fried Rice 11/4/2008

They have the best fried rice. Its nicely seasoned and the chicken is very tender. It also has delicous onions. However, the restaurant is kind of dirty. I would compare its cleanliness to a fast food restaurant in the gheto. I also tried the Moo Goo Gai Pan. The mushrooms were perfect. However, the chicken wasn't as tender as in the fried rice, the sauce was too bland, and they put celery in it, which wasn't listed on the menu. I did have them leave out the carrots. I don't get putting carrots or celery in chinese. Well, when I go back again I think I may try an appetizer. I also plan on getting it to go. I know that I will get the fried rice and have them add mushrooms. I think that would be perfect. Pros: Awesome Fried Rice and you can get it to go Cons: Kind of Dirty, Other dishes weren't the best more

My favorite chinese place 9/8/2008

I have been going to Chin's for over twenty years, and I am never disapointed. Their chicken wings are a must have! They are always hot, juicy, and crispy - Never greasy or dry. I always support small businesses, and Chin's is a great example of why- The family run restaurant is a tasty place to eat with friendly staff and great service everytime! Pros: Fast service, great food, low prices. more

Excellent and Healthy Chinese 1/21/2008

Chin's is a great place for healthy Chinese food. He cooks his food using oil sparingly, so you get delicious, low-fat dishes, that are not greasy! Also at a great price. I will definitely go back again. more

I would swim in a giant vat of the potsticker sauce 12/21/2007

Excellent service and excellent food. This restaurant is hands down the best Chinese food in the area, much better than House of Wong in every aspect. more

i love the fried rice! Pros: good fried rice more

non-greasy chinese...oh yeah 8/18/2006

First take out in the area for us. Very good. Hot, fast, and \r the sweet and sour chicken was nicely glazed without the\r mouth feel of molasses. Healthy, easy, cheap, and delicious. Pros: yummy Cons: in a strip mall, but what's new more

Great food,great service 4/2/2006

The food that i just got from chin was great, the creamcheese puffs were excellent, the fried rice like no other they cannot make a bad fried rice, the sweet and sour chicken was excellent. Much better than the restaurant down the street!!!! more

A Big Combo for a Little Price..... 2/5/2004

Tried Chin's on whim and I love it! I have gotten take out at Chin's numerous times. I have always been extremely pleased with the food. Much better than a place down the road, which is over priced, bad service, and not so tasty food. The egg foo young is excellent and the combo choices and prices are great - $3.95 for rice, side, and main dish cannot be beat! The only thing that would make it better would be delivery! Pros: Inexpensive, Quick Service, Portion Size more

The best Mustard Green Fried Rice in MN 12/31/2003

The Mustard Green Fried Rice has rich taste and it isn't greasy. I think that this dish is the most delicious fried rice in Minnesota. I strongly recommend adding ""Hot sauce"", however it's very hot and spicy. You should have just a taste of the sauce whether it is fit for your tongue. Pros: Inexpensive, Not greasy more
