The decor is fairly lovely, but the food didn't have anything that stood out as better than other chinese restaurants. There were, however, dishes that weren't as good as other chinese restaurants. Please note though, my opinion maybe biased. I grew up near San Francisco, eating delicious Chinese food. I grew up eating homecooked Chinese food. I've traveled and eaten Chinese food. I tend to have higher standards for it. So for me, buffets, greasy food, etc. really doesn't go. That's just so you understand where I'm rating from. Anyways, I really enjoyed the fact that they had ingredients that are seen less often in chinese restaurants in common usage, like asparagus. The soup with asparagus was really quite nice, though I do have a soft spot for asparagus. The Chef's special seafood dish was extremely depressing and disappointing, and at a high cost, too. The Salt and pepper seafood dish had enough msg to conk out my tastebuds right then and there. That was the worst dish hands down. I could physically taste the MSG and it felt like it was coating my tongue. -Shudder-
Pros: Use of asparagus in unusual places
Cons: LOTS of MSG, Seafood is disappointing
