Attended a large family dinner there a week ago and every item they served was delicious, fresh, and perfectly cooked. Can't wait to go back.

Worst

Do not eat here. The only reason it is open after all these years OS because of the regulars that frequent the bar. It's a local bar fly hangout basically.

I can't give this local restaurant 5 stars, because the food is just basic chinese food. Nothing spectacular. However, for our little town of Port Orchard, it is as close to great as we are going to get. I always order the #1 dinner, or the sweet and sour shrimp. I am never disappointed, but I never have anything to RAVE about. However, the service.....We always try to have Mellissa(Missy) as our waitress. She is friendly, personable, and just fantastic. Her service is always quick, with a smile. Overall, the best chinese food in the area, and some great service! more

Great Food/Service 11/26/2010

Our family has been eating here for 20 years plus. The staff has always been friendly and attentive. We traditionally have an extended family meal there every year the day before Thanksgiving. When my wife and I eat there they greet us warmly, ask if we want to start with our regular Panstickers and bring us our Tea. They have a full sevice bar in the back and will serve you there if you wish. more

Surprising 11/5/2010

The atmosphere was warm and inviting. The interior was very plain although the furniture and wall decorations were definitely heavy on Chinese imports. The staff, although very busy, were very nice and attentive. The best surprise was the food. I am used to Chinese food in L.A. and San Francisco Chinatowns. If the food in those areas is 9 on a scale of 0 to 10 then this was a strong 7. Not bad for a distant corner of the Pac Norwest. Not Chinese Haute Cuisine but I will definitely go back. more

what are they talking about 2/25/2010

Whomever wrote that this is buffet, is probably confused with the China Sun restaurant which IS buffet. This rstaurant is a "sit down and order" restaurant on the cormer of Mile Hill Drive (a major thoroughfare) and Harrison. The staff is friendly, the food is decent, and yes, a little high priced. But Port Orchard is lacking a GREAT Chinese food restaurant and this one is decent. The interior decor is nice and there are plenty of choices on the menu. If you are hungry for Chinese and can't make it to a PF Chang's, this will do just fine. more

This is another restaurant located in an out of the way area. It is a standalone building with good signage. There is ample parking. Food is humdrum, menu is standard choices, and prices are rather high. When I was there, the interior had unkept tables and staff appeared oblivious to this. Staff was oblivious to me, too. more

Lots of Food 9/25/2005

This restarauant has a buffet setting with a wide variety of american and chineese food. This includes a dessert table and ice-cream machine for you to make your own cone or dish with the toppings.This is great for families that have a different opinion on what and where they should be eating. The reasonable price is separated into categories by age for the all you can eat meal. They are open for lunch and dinner. The service is good and so is the food. My daughter always loads up on the orange glaze chicken and the sweet and sour pork. more
