China Sun Buffet

This is the best chinese buffet that I've been to. Not that I've been to too many, but they have a huge variety, the service is prompt, and the prices are great! Wouldn't recommend the sushi, but the Mongolian grill is awesome! My boyfriend ate 4 heaping plates and finished off with dessert. We rolled ourselves back home. Chinese buffets that are actually of the quality of China Sun Buffet come far and few ... more notibly, the one reviewed here (Springfield) is much better than the one in Eugene (11th)! Go figure. The buffet is stacked with about 4 isles serving: Chinese food Chinese-American Food (virtually anything deep fried and aimed at non-adventurous Americans) Mongolian Grill (Various choices of raw meat and noodles for cooking) Desert / Fruits / Salads Sushi (Unagi, Salmon, California Roll) The service is very attentive and friendly. They're fast and prompt serving drinks and cleaning tables. Overall, they're the reason why I keep coming back. The mongolian grill and sushi make it worth the $10 (dinner) price alone. While the Chinese food isn't the greatest (to me anyways) it will certainly satisfy the tastebuds of many who enjoy an afternoon/evening Asian meal. While the food is decent and the restaurant still bears the resemblance of the Denny's or IHOP that it was converted from, it is all in all a good family value. The service is always there to refill your drinks or take your plates away. The food, while somewhat ordinary, is never lacking and always hot. They have a descent variety from Cantonese to Szechuan with a little Japanese and Korean thrown into the mix. They also have a salad bar and some American food. If the buffet does not suit your needs you can always order form the Menu which is extensive. Great place for kids and large groups for dine-in but don't forget the free delivery.
