Buyer Beware 7/29/2010

I was very disapointed in this place. All the vacant tables near us were left with dirty dishes, glasses and food all over the place. Service was fair. The food left my wife and I incapacitated to the bathroom for about 48hrs. The value received for the bowel cleaning was not much better than China Platter or Joy Luck. Pros: good parking Cons: Filthy! more

BEST SECRET CHINESE RESTAURANT IN TOWN 2/28/2008

We all know about the Mandarin and Joy Luck, but not many people know about China Star. The food is excellent, the portions are generous, the prices are awesone (my husband and I can leave having spent less that $25 for the two of us. That's with drinks and a big combination meal (soup, fried prawns, crab wontons, fried shrimp and your entree), and the service can't be beat. General Tso's and Sweet and Sour Chicken are the two I can never decide between. more

The ginger beef & sesame chicken were really good. My husband and I really enjoyed the food, and would definately go again. It's also not as spendy as the Mandarin(I'm not saying they aren't good though). Pros: Good to go service more
