China Kitchen Restaurant

I normally love the Vietnamese, and the Chinese is OK from here. My family has been frequenting this place in one form or another for around twenty years. There have been times that they are spot on, and times they have missed the mark. Most of the time, (other than the tea) they are a good place to eat. But recently I find myself defending the service and the food to friends and co-workers alike; after recommending China Kitchen to them. I recently had an instance that a dish (out of five purchased) on the ticket was not palatable. My wife and I took the food back and asked that they allow us to select something else from the menu to make up for the unsavory entre. I have eaten at China Kitchen many times. It is cheap and one of the only Chinese restaurants in New Braunfels... But I will never eat there again. After the third time of getting really bad (Im talking rotten shrimp, rancid meat, day old hard fried rice) food I refuse to ever go there again. What is worse than being served rotten food? When you do have a problem with your order do not bother speaking with the mgmt or owner because they do not care. They will yell, call you a liar and charge you for inedible food. China Kitchen wins the award for worst food worst service... Panda Express fast food is a better choice than this disaster. One star because you have to give a rating. They deserve NO STAR!!!
