China Chef Restaurant

This was my first time ordering from here. The food was great but delivery time exceeded the estimate by about an hour. Even when I received and "updated time" it was still a half hour after that. We were quite hungry by the time it got here. Maybe next time I won't order on Friday, or Valentine's Day. There was a mistake on my order as well. Instead of receiving the "Beef Chow Mein" that I ordered I received what I believe to be "Beef Chow Fun" from the description. This was a serendipitous mistake though, since I think the Beef Chow Fun is my new favorite thing. Over all, I am deducting 1 star for the delay and 1 for the mistake. I believe China Chef will be a 5 star experience next time though and I will order from them again. more

I really don't get all of the rave reviews for this place. The food arrived luke warm and took over 90 minutes for delivery. I get that it was a busy night, but it is 2013 we have access to weather forecast data and can schedule accordingly. I always order sesame chicken when I get Chinese food and it is amazing how most restaurants use the lowest possible quality of chicken for their dishes. I am talking about chicken that is so dry and thin that there is hardly any meat in it and the meat that is there is stringy and chewy. Take a hint from places like Red Chopsticks or even Panda Express. Yea, there seasoning and sauce suck, but they use real chicken. This place is just like 90% of the of the Chinese strip mall places around here. Food not cooked to order and lowest quality product from their suppliers. more

Not too shabby! Took a little while to get here, and grubhub continues to change my address to a range rather than an exact number, but hey...not China Chef's fault! I had the crab rangoon, general tso's chicken, and beef skewers. The crab rangoon was HUGE and really tasty! more

They need better details for their online menu and the coupons that they offer are only avaiable if you call direct, which is a pain. more

the best Chinese i have found in aurora. the general tso's chicken , beef fried rice, and Crab Rangoon was awesome. aurora sorely needed a Chinese place that was worth a salt. more
