bad food, old, stale ---- went at 3:28... lunch ended at 3:30 - only food they put out fresh till 5pm was shrimp - i went to get \r 4 pieces of shrimp and the lady came and took it off my plate and said only for dinner ""paying customers"" - the place is dirty and a joke!! I think she put the shrimp back in the bin too more

We love this place! Friendly, reasonable and sumptuous. Prices are good. Great big choice of Chinese delicacies, no long waiting times. Food was fresh and delicious every time we came and we went there a lot, staff is right there when and if you need them, children usually are so interested in food there was no problem in keeping them occupied. Never had any problems afterwards either. Children's favorite. Some of their foods are fatty, that could be one reason for indigestion, but if you are careful about your choice there should be no problem. more

Have eaten here several times with wife and kids. Never had a complaint about service, food or anything else. From some of the other reviews, I wondered if they were at same place, but since we have gotten food poisoning at the mexican restaurant close by, I will not dispute the other reviewers experiences. My experiences have been goodand the food quality is good and for a reasonable price for all you can eat, I certainly will continue to eat at China Buffet in Fenton plaza. more

I have no clue how this place stays in business with the poor quality of staff and food. My wife and I ate there the other night and within 4 hours were in and out of the bathroom all night. They would not refund the $22.00 that we paid for our meals. I would only reccomend this place to someone you dont like. I should have known better when i walked through the door and saw the layout but we were craving chinese and this place was right by the video store we came from. Even the ice cream freezer that is fair game to whomever is brave enough to put you arms in looks like it has the left over ice cream from the old baskin robbins that went out of business. Stay away, far away. Keep your pets away too! Pros: if you want to lose a few pounds from honking and having the squirts then you have found your place! Cons: Everything, no privacy, i would rather drink mexican water than eat their food, the place is dirty, unorganized, days old food is served more

Well, as this buffet is not so far away from where we live, we tried it once again this January 2012. Nothing has changed since the previous years. The unfriendly boss was not seen anymore. I guess new people took over this place once again. The waitress cleaned up the food area with a broom and the dustcame up over the food. I complained - she stopped. I talked with my friend and she started using the broom again. The impression you get there is if the stuff keeps a close eye on you what you eat and how much. The food variety is definately below average. Although they also serve crab legs every evening, throughout the week, the quality and size is maybe 3. grade only. They are small and almost not worth to open up. You waste time for nothing. If you expect a little romanic ambiente, you are in the wrong place too. This place is just good when you have an immediate urge to eat. Unfortunately the Saint Louis area has less and less valuable Chinese buffets. Someone may say now, then we have to stick on what is left there. Unfortunately as a food tester I am unable to give this buffet more than a 1 star rating. It simply doesn't match a standard Chinese buffet at this time ( 2009 ). Thank you! Well, this is now my latest review ( September 2008 ) about this buffet and honestly, the entire ambiente of this place went down. The food quality is average, if not even below that. This place serves crab legs, but don't expect a highlight. The size of the legs are 2nd if not third grade. They are tiny and you loose interest to even open them up. If you want to round up your meal with an ice cream, be careful! Better don't look into the ice cream cans. It looks messy and filthy in there! The management is not friendly. To round it up, if u just want to have a quick buffet and you don't care much, go, eat and leave quickly. This place has nothing nice to offer. Food quality is just average or below average. The price for the evening buffet is $11,95 ( September 2008 ). Pros: Sorry - no pros! Cons: Unfriendly management - poor small crab legs - poor ice cream corner more

I got some carryout and when I got home I discovered some hair in my food. They took the food and refused to refund me six dollars. more

I've been going to china buffet since I was a kid and now I take my kids there we just went 2 days ago and are planning to go back tonight. the food is great the price is right. the have anything from sweet and sour chicken and broccli beef to seafood like scolups crab legs and frog legs. I never thought I would eat frog legs but I triewd them on accident here and they are absolutely amazing. the staff is very kind although hard to understand and the restrant is clean. for my family of 4 (I have 2 small children that eat at the childrens price) we paid 33.00 with drink food and tip included. more

I usually hate buffets this one is actually good and recomend it to anyone. But don't do what I did the first time I went and grab the raw food it is intended to be cooked at the grill lol. Pros: Great taste, great value. Cons: Not enough time to eat everything lol more
