Chimney Keepers

Carl came out and fixed my chimney which was having some issues with the white powder you see on them.. It caused by water getting in the brick and when it dries the powder shows up.. They went over the whole process and showed me the products they use. I was very satisfied with the service of this company. I had used them for carpet cleaning and he noticed the white powder in my living room above the mantel..Carl starting explaining how it happened and I remember when booking the appt they answered the phone with chimney keepers and absolute best carpet care. I see one of the above reviews was very negative so I am thinking they did not actually use his services as I can tell you for a fact they are great to work with.. My friend was looking for someone to clean their chimney and i recommended carl at chimney keepers.. Pros: Very helpful with chimney problem. Had water issues. Cons: non more

Contacted the owner about a water leak at my chimney. We set a day to meet. He was supposed to call when he was on his way to the property, so I could meet him there. When he didn't call me at the appointed time, I called him. He said that he had already checked the chimney, and couldn't find a problem. He did however,leave me a bill for his ""work"". I found the leak, and fixed it myself in less than an hour. This included the time it took to drive to Home Depot and back. The total cost of my repair was 20% of what he charged to ""check"" the chimney. It was a very simple problem with the flashing. If this guy is a ""chimney expert "", I'm an astronaut.
