I love Chili's. I could just fill up on the chips and salsa....It's unlimited!! The ribs are great of course and I love the dessert.

Food Is Getting Better.... 6/22/2006

The food is tasty overall and they seem to be making improvements in their menu all the time. Their drink menu could use improvements however as could their servers. The service was OK the last time I dined here, it's the attitude of the servers that is not great. It may not be the greatest job to be a server there but they should be friendlier and seem to care a bit more and not treat the customer like they are a bother. Hire better servers and keep making improvements in the menu. more

Better Than You Might Expect 6/2/2006

I know, it's weird to give a decent restaurant review to a chain restaurant. I have written about how hard that is before and it is true about this chain as well. Still, when it comes to a place to go for a quick lunch, I would be hard pressed to come up with a place I have enjoyed more than Chili's. Whether I was meeting a friend at the one here on Touhy or going to the one across the street from where I worked in Rolling Meadows, I have never found a problem. I have eaten the steak and wanted more. Recently I discovered the salmon dish they have on their menu and enjoyed every bite. Others rave about the soups and other friends rave about their salads. Everyone seems to be able to find something good to eat and plenty rave about their drinks when alcohol is in order. So, don't pass it up just because it's a chain restaurant. Chili's has a good menu, decent prices and a great atmospehere. more

Chili's is for Lovers! 3/17/2006

As goofy as this may sound, can you believe I first discovered Chili's from watching that (Jerry "Springeresque", train wreck of a program), Cheaters?? Come on, admit you have watched it too. It seemed like when the first host (Tommy Grand) would present the cases, half the 'cheatin' hearts' were getting caught at Chili's?! I must admit it made me curious. Not sure if they wanted this kind of publicity, but heck, it got me to become a regular customer. I love their blue cheese burgers, and who can resist that (what looks like) a 20 pound plate of onion rings piled to the sky? They have good iced tea (the mango is my favorite) and the food is tasty and good. more
