Picture this: party of 5 on a Friday night. We show up and get our beeper at 6:00. Lobby is full of folks to be seated and we are told 15 to 20 minute wait. Reasonable? Sure. We wait...and wait...and wait. The people in the lobby with us have all been seated and are enjoying their meals. It's now been 40 minutes. Yes, there is a party of 16, but they are accomodated. Another lobby full waits and is seated but not a party of 5. We notice the call ahead sign and do so. We are told there is a 15-20 minute wait. We explain we are IN THEIR LOBBY and have been waiting for 40 minutes. No response. At 60 minutes I ask to speak to the manager. He comes bumbling out and when I explain what has happened, does he say he will look into it right away? Does he assure me we will be seated next? Does he even blink? No. He says he is sorry. That's it. No compensation, no explanation. Nothing.
