I'm not a huge fan of Chili's. Maybe it's because when I eat out, I like to try things other than American food; or maybe it's because it's so family-orientated and I don't have kids yet. Whatever the reason, I've always resisted going there when someone suggests it. But on my birthday, one of my girlfriends took me to the location in Towne Lake for lunch and I really enjoyed it. I think the time of day had something to do with it. It was late afternoon on a weekday and the place was pretty quiet so we could enjoy each other's conversation as we sat at the bar. We both had a margharita, which was well made, and we shared the a platter where we got to choose 3 appetizers. We chose S'western Eggrolls, Spinach & Artichoke Dip and Cheese Sticks. Although unhealthy, it tasted as expected and came with some good dipping sauces. Overall I had a great experience since the bartender stood back and let my friend & I enjoy each other's comapny and the tasty bar food type meal.
Pros: Lots Of Menu Choices, Good Bar Service, Value
Cons: Average All-American Restaurant
