I typically love and enjoy going to Chili's, I have a craving for their fajitas quite often. The food is predictably good, but every time we have been to this particular location the service has been barely average and even sub par.
The first time, we were ignored at the hostess stand by no less than 3 young girls who were discussing hair and who was dating whom. The manager came out and gave us a table. Then our waitress made us wait about 10 minutes before even seeing if we needed drinks or anything, then another 10 before taking our order. Had we known our way around town better, we'd just arrived to live in this town, we would have left.
The food was cooked correctly, but we had to continually remind her to bring us things we'd requested, and we saw her many times just lounging in the section near ours doing nothing when we did need something. When she was given 2 more tables to take care of she treated them the same way.
The next time we went, we had a different waitress and we were seated right away, but the entire staff was really busy. They just seemed rushed and too busy to handle all the people they had in store.
I think they could use some retraining with their staff and it would help a great deal.
