well let me start by telling you something about me I am six foot tall, I am a single parent of 2 kids one is autism, I work all the time and when not at work my kids keep me on my toes never getting a chance two slow down. I have had a lot of back pain over the years not to talk about the pain in my head cant lift it off the pellow seeing spots and can not even take the sound of someone wispering. Dr.childs gave me my life back my dr wanted to put me on pain pills i sayed no so he told me to go to Dr childs to see if he could help i was not shere i have always heard bad storys about chiropractic not to say the money where do i get it. but i had to do something so i decided to go. they worked with me on the money they put up with my crazy schedule. You will never meet a nicer group of people they make a point of asking about the kids and best of all they remember what i say about what happens in my life so they truly lesson to me I go 1 a mo. but I can call at anytime and they fit me in. I have also asked for help with my wrist at one point never turned away and the best part is in the year i have gone to him i have never had to wait for more than 10 min to be seen so i get in and out so it is very easy to fit in to a crazy day. I tell Dr. child that like some people have to have drugs to make them fill good I have my chiropractor. NO MORE PAIN NO MORE NO MORE.\r \r If you are looking for someone that really cares about you and not how much they will make off you call Dr.Childs you will be happy with your decition but do not take my word call yourself and you too will have found your angel more

While shopping one day in Robinson Crossing I noticed the Chiropractic Wellness Center. I decided to check it out and I ended up making an appointment since I sit a lot at my job and thought it would be good to get an adjustment. I ended up getting an adjustment from Dr. Childs and since then my eyeball feels like it's being squeezed in a vice. I battle constant headaches, my fingers have a tingling/numb sensation, I have a weak grip, the base of my neck has a piercing sharp pain and I suffer restricted mobility in my neck. I complained to his office about all my pain since my visit to Dr. Childs and they actually had the arrogance to tell me that this was a good thing and part of the process! They told me that I was lucky I found Dr. Childs so he could discover my hidden back problems and now he could start working on it. They wanted me to schedule three ongoing appointments per week. I told them that there is no way that I would go back to him and that he caused more harm than good. I am currently getting proper treatment from a wonderful therapist to repair all of the damage that Dr. Childs has done to me. Pros: Nothing Cons: Everything more

I thought only ducks quacked. I went to childs chiropractic and still can’t believe what a joke this place is. This quack is the epitome of what gives chiropractors a bad reputation. I moved to Norman from Dallas and have regularly gone to chiropractors for maintenance adjustments. My experience with chiropractors up until childs has always been top-notch. I refrain from referring to him as Dr., because there is NO WAY THIS QUACK IS A DOCTOR! I had my first clue to turn around and run out the door the second I noticed the Jesus fish on his sign-in sheet at the front desk. I am a person of faith, but from past experiences I’ve learned all too well that businesses that advertise religious or patriotic icons are cons hiding behind these highly revered symbols. My treatment time spent with childs was less than three minutes. None of the manipulations were personalized to my individual needs, just a crack and a snap and he said, “your all done buddy”. The rest of the time he spent trying to sell me his junk. He tried to sell me his pillows, supplements and his over-priced Ben-Gay nock-off. To top it off, he wanted me to be treated by him bi-weekly to prevent me from ever getting the cold or flu. This snake oil salesman actually told me I’d never get sick by going to him and that he could make me lose weight through his chiropractic adjustments! I’ll never follow a plump man’s advice in how to lose weight. Quack, quack mr. childs and waddle back to the pond you came from and fish for another sucker somewhere else. Child’s Chiropractic gave me a CHIROPRACTIC STROKE!!! I started going to Dr. Child’s due to a pinched nerve. On my third visit, while he was manipulating my neck, I heard the strangest popping sound within my head and saw a quick bright flash. The pain was excruciating and I told him something was wrong. He chuckled and told me that it was the sound of the gasses releasing from my spine and that it’s all part of the treatment. I told his assistant and the front desk lady that I didn’t feel right. They replied that he treats them all the time and they never get sick. My husband was concerned since he couldn’t get ahold of me, so he rushed home and found me in my car in the garage passed out. I woke up with virtually no recollection of driving home. I don’t even remember pulling into my garage. I had a mind splitting headache, was terribly nauseated and was numb on one side of my body. It was difficult to stay balanced when I got out of my car and tried to walk. My husband called Dr. Child’s while I was vomiting incessantly. They said it had nothing to do with Dr. Child’s treatment and I must be fighting a bug. My husband rushed me to Norman Regional’s ER. After a series of tests at the hospital I was sent to a neurologist for more testing. It was finally determined that I had what is known as a Chiropractic Stroke due to aggressive chiropractic manipulation. After all I have been through, Chuck Child’s still does not take any responsibility for his actions. Stop! Listen to what I have to say. I got the full evaluation with X-Ray's and the computer muscle stress analysis. I went to him three times a week which was his recommendation for several months. Every time I went to him I got the same two adjustments. I call him TWO MOVE CHUCK. Going to TWO MOVE CHUCK is like being in a fast food assembly line. I'm in and out of his manipulation room faster than it takes me to get my son his kid's meal! I kept showing him where my pain is and again, he'd perform the only two moves he knows. He'd dance around in his fancy shoes telling me we're making progress. DO NOT GO TO TWO MOVE CHUCK!!! He's an incompetent man (charlatan) hiding behind his chiropractic license. His manipulations are rudimentary and do not help. He has all my money which his wife has obviously wasted on her gaudy jewelry addiction. Cons: Being referred to as Sweety and Sunshine more
