Fabulous store, clean, well-organized, carrying hard-to-find high quality toys. You won't find Barbie or Star Wars here, nor all the high-tech gizmos whose electronic bells and whistles cover up the fact that they are just plastic junk.
Instead, you can invest in toys that inspire creativity and promote learning - building toys, marble mazes, train sets, costumes, beautiful dolls, books, and more. Brands like Plan and Haba, and a precious display of the Calico Critters line. They have a wonderful play area so you can park your toddler in a safe zone while you browse - my two-year-old was mesmerized in it for 45 minutes.
One of the few brick-and-mortar locations for cloth diapers, slings, and other natural parenting items, they also carry lines of baby clothing new to me, most notably the unique Zutano, with whose darling prints I instantly fell in love. The clothing for older kids was also very creative - made me wish I had girls to shop for!
The associates were friendly and helpful but not pushy, leaving me free to browse without pressure. I could have stayed all day in this place!
The only con was the higher cost of the merchandise, only to be expected given the caliber and quality but a sore temptation for a family on a budget. I joked to my husband that it was good we were only visiting Ft. Collins, because if we lived there this place would have all my money.
Pros: QUALITY toys and clothing, natural parenting items
Cons: Pricey.
